Morning all. I wonder if the market has settled down after the "bloodbath".

My own view, which I hope is not just wishful thinking after a dire week, is that the market will finish in the blue. Just as markets do not go up in a straight line, nor do they fall in like manner, so I expect to see quite a lot of bear covering ahead of w/e and also a recovery in oil stocks following the modest hardening in crude prices.

You will note that I am not remotely brave enough to guess as to ""Up by how much?" let alone take a long position on FTSE!

Sorry .... I lied! ..... Not sure if it was greed or desperation, but I took a modest long on FTSE at 5660 and so far so good.
