Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

I don't know why the Eu doesn't just go back to how it was when it was the EEC ,trade together and that's it , or it's game over down the road.

The problem with Trots and Marxists is that they don't want to give up power.

Perhaps the tories prefer to buy it and act as puppets on strings being manipulated from afar.

Kowtowing to media and press and selling off "dishonours" for favours at the highest price they can get.

The morality of Mafia and corrupt banana republics.

And now the said "leadership" of Con artists as praising one another for their loyalty and hard work while fighting one another like rats in a bag.

Nice to get Cameron booted out and bring in no change.

As Theresa said they do work for the Nasty Party.

Good old Cruella.

But why don't the tories go the whole way and beg Nigel Farage join their party becoming their leader?

A justifiable reward for both sides.

Tory leadership support from Conservative MPs so far declared

fred - what an extraordinarily bitter old man you are ...... life in your household really must be a complete bundle of laughs

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 18:10 - 4009 of 12628

Laughs and fred in the same sentence?

MaxK - 30 Jun 2016 18:11 - 4010 of 12628

If the con plp elect May, they've lost me.

Ye gods, are they feckin mad?

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 18:16 - 4011 of 12628

There are rumours that there is an internal plot to have any one but Gove now. They are not impressed with the way he knifed Boris. You may or may not remember that Michael Heseltine knifed Thatcher and was the big loser in the leadership campaign. Irrespective of other considerations, knifing an apparent friend is bad form.

If he doesn't win then he has probably fatally damaged his career.

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 18:24 - 4012 of 12628

Theresa May said this morning that Leave means leave and she will invoke article 50.

Tweet from Adam Boulton

Early impressions at this stage Gove has overreached may not make it into last 2. May the one to beat.

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 18:28 - 4014 of 12628

Gove may have underestimated the feeling against him for knifing Boris

Tweet from Conservative MP, retweeted by Andrew Neil

Tory MP: there is a very deep pit reserved in hell for Michael Gove

MaxK - 30 Jun 2016 18:31 - 4015 of 12628

You can post positives about May all you want Haystack, but what you cant post is May saying out before the vote.

Fred1new - 30 Jun 2016 18:40 - 4016 of 12628

Manuel,

Thank you.

I consider my "personal" life quite satisfactory and happy. My family, in general, also seem very happy.

Also, I consider that I have been very lucky over a lifetime.

What I posted is being repeated in different ways by many previous tory party members who are disgusted by the antics of the present tory cabal.

Politics as a whole in this country seems to many to be at its lowest level of decency for many years.

Brought into the limelight the unnecessary referendum and blatant opportunism by the party leadership elections following it.

Farmyard morality.

The morality of the market applies.

cynic - 30 Jun 2016 18:42 - 4017 of 12628

from what i have seen, TM is one of few who has the spine and strength of character to do a most unenviable job very well

cynic - 30 Jun 2016 18:44 - 4018 of 12628

fred - i strongly recommend that you emigrate to a country that is more in tune with you, for clearly this one is not

grannyboy - 30 Jun 2016 18:49 - 4019 of 12628

Hooo be careful, Fred's a first generation immigrant, he'l be crying racist next.

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 18:52 - 4020 of 12628

MaxK
Theresa May has always been for Remain. She said prior to the referendum that we should cut immigration.

Haystack - 30 Jun 2016 19:00 - 4021 of 12628

I knew fred was an alien, maybe he/she/it should return to Mars.

Fred1new - 30 Jun 2016 19:03 - 4022 of 12628
