Rocketing this morning on a superb upgrade !...

I keep thinking 'shall I buy into this?', sp goes up and I think I have missed the boat, sp then slumps another 20% and I am glad I waited....and the trend continues! I am sure money to be made by traders who are glued to a screen all day, but will wait for sub 3p before I take the plunge I think.

Update on Holmwood Well, PEDL143, Weald Basin, UK
UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM: UKOG) notes the release made this morning by Europa Oil and Gas Holdings) plc ("Europa") in respect of PEDL143 where UKOG holds a 30% interest, increasing to 40% on completion of the recently announced transaction with Warwick Energy Exploration and Production Limited.

Europa included the following statements:
"Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc, UK and Ireland focussed exploration, development and production company notes the outcome of the Surrey County Council Planning and Regulatory Committee meeting on 18 October 2017 in connection with a conventional oil exploration well to test the Holmwood prospect at Bury Hill Wood, Coldharbour Lane, Surrey:

· A planning application for a security fence for the drill site was approved by Surrey County Council ('SCC') at the Planning and Regulatory Committee meeting on 18 October 2017.

· The Planning Committee elected to defer a decision on Condition 19 (Traffic Management Scheme) pending response to further requests for information from the Planning Committee.

Europa will consult with its joint venture partners and advisers and respond to SCC on Condition 19 accordingly.

As a consequence of the deferred decision on Condition 19, the Company advises that it anticipates operations to drill the Holmwood conventional oil exploration well will now commence in H1 2018.

Europa is operator of the Licence in which it holds a 20% interest, alongside UK Oil & Gas Investments plc 30%, Egdon Resources plc 18.4%, Angus Energy plc 12.5%, Warwick Energy 10%, Union Jack Oil plc 7.5% and Altwood Petroleum 1.6%."

SCDM Energy has reduced its position from 4.94% to 3.04%.

SCDM has again reduced it's holding, now to 2.55%

institutional selling is probably worth paying attention to

For pete's sake Cynic.....they have discovered mobile light oil....1st well flowed 1300 barrels some distance away from this second ongoing flowtest.....if successful with a good flow then the sp (I say could rocket) as it would prove that there is a large quantity of oil directly below the Gatwick area ready to be exploited and as this company has a substantial part of the acreage : it would be gamechanging for UKOG !...

So what's the holdup?......and how come the expectation isn't built into the price as it was with RKH?

why are you under the misapprehension that oil forms a huge lake?
generally, there are puddles (ponds if you insist) that need to be "joined up" - always assuming the whole makes a commercial project anyway - which is why fracking

1300 barrels is almost a joke
you then need to determine how much can actually be extracted ....generally about 40% of the whole from memory

1300 on land in the UK is no joke...that's per day times 365 days a year !...one well...they are trying to determine the extent of the field...not easy I imagine with drilling restrictions on prime land...it is possible to analyse oil from one well and determine if it is the same as from another at some distance...that's what is happening right now !....I'm just saying that all this looks promising and there is room for an upsurge in the sp if the flowtests turn out positive....we shall see...

Harrycat...RKH suffered in the crude downturn....one to watch I'm sure....crude is gently rising .....

Exercise of Options
UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM and ISDX: UKOG) announces that it has received notice from the estate of Jason Berry, a former Director of UKOG, of the exercise of options to subscribe for a total of 8,000,000 new ordinary shares in the Company (the "New Ordinary Shares"). The Company has received £92,000 in respect of this exercise.

Application has been made for these New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is anticipated that trading in such shares will commence on or around 15 November 2017.

If the testing comes right ...with crude on the up...might be a spectacular bounce coming..sp wise....

or it may be so much hot air and other crap that has consistently emanated from this company
