ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

internet fashion retailer Asos is expected to say on September 19 that sales are continuing to soar.

Retail sources have suggested that Asos may soon run out of steam in Britain. There have also been concerns that some retailers’ internet sites were almost as quiet as some High Streets during the Olympics.

But the most recent City analysis suggests things are still chugging along at Asos. Matthew McEachran at broker Singer Capital Markets has pencilled in 13 per cent UK growth for the three months to the end of August.

That is a step up from the previous quarterly update of eight per cent. Total sales, including international, could be up 32 per cent, he said.

sp looks to have been stuck in a very narrow channel for a long time .... many ways to interpret that

tomasz - 03 Sep 2012 16:27 - 4033 of 5941

not sure what you about...but currently i've got consolidation here and back to broken trend channel..anyway closed spread today 1816 since it looks like i may get bit better price

tomasz - 05 Sep 2012 09:09 - 4034 of 5941

1867?..and open above yesterday open..lol..for f..sake..thats mental by even asc standards..shouldnt close there.

ahoj - 05 Sep 2012 09:34 - 4035 of 5941

That's the power of internet. Anyone who is short should be worried.

tomasz - 05 Sep 2012 10:27 - 4036 of 5941

agree, but somehow there is still about 3% on loan so its fairly a lot..barclays put overweight and target up to 24 today too

cynic - 05 Sep 2012 11:25 - 4037 of 5941

do try to be less ridiculous than usual - 3% on loan is bugger all, though it would be a brave man to be short (or even heavily long)

tomasz - 06 Sep 2012 11:10 - 4038 of 5941

better educate yourself grandpa, 3% here is a quiet lot.

cynic - 06 Sep 2012 11:12 - 4039 of 5941

quiet (sic) a lot of what????????
when you see 10/15/20% stock on loan, then it's worth taking some notice ..... i'ld hazard that 3% is no more than would be expected in virtually any stock - e.g. prudent hedging
