ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

better educate yourself grandpa, 3% here is a quiet lot.

cynic - 06 Sep 2012 11:12 - 4039 of 5941

quiet (sic) a lot of what????????
when you see 10/15/20% stock on loan, then it's worth taking some notice ..... i'ld hazard that 3% is no more than would be expected in virtually any stock - e.g. prudent hedging

dreamcatcher - 06 Sep 2012 11:16 - 4040 of 5941

Lol

from egzample you put it is clear that the gap in your brain would be pretty hard to fill up with the right knowledge about this particular subject.

tomasz - 06 Sep 2012 16:44 - 4045 of 5941

well, well... I may close too early the last spread but today my whole old school stock stake recovered after a year of nearly 50% dive and end up with quiet sweet profit already..yet somehow moaning about last spread trade..I'm hopeless...lol

cynic - 06 Sep 2012 18:13 - 4046 of 5941

day traded this a couple of days back and pocketed an adequate return, but decided that dow was the place for some decent money to be (see ftse thread) and very glad i did so

tomasz - 07 Sep 2012 13:51 - 4047 of 5941

Seymour Clearly - 07 Sep 2012 17:06 - 4049 of 5941

Rumours of QE3 so shorts may not be such a good idea. But it's your money.

tomasz - 07 Sep 2012 18:10 - 4050 of 5941

tomasz - 07 Sep 2012 18:18 - 4051 of 5941

HARRYCAT - 07 Sep 2012 18:25 - 4052 of 5941

Jefferies has initiated its coverage of internet retailing giant ASOS with a 'buy' rating and 2,199p target price.

In a research report titled 'Build a brand and they will come!', the broker said that its investment thesis rests on three key ideas: "ASOS is a dynamic disruptor in a surprisingly staid industry, the business model defines operational leverage and delivers strong RoIC [return on invested capital] and lastly, our proprietary brand analysis indicates real competitive advantage."

tomasz - 07 Sep 2012 18:41 - 4053 of 5941

o yeah..saw that today...asos is a different case..asos is sweet..if s&p and dow and ftse got just that sort of engines than i'll be ultra long..

dreamcatcher - 07 Sep 2012 18:44 - 4054 of 5941

Online fashion retailer ASOS is back to its old ways, hitting new highs once again. The shares are still some way short of the peaks reached in mid-2011, but at 1,973p (and having hit a new high of 1,995p earlier in the day!), they're up nearly 75% on their 12-month low set in December.

July's trading statement showed overall sales up 31% and, after the company changed its year-end, we're due a further update on 18 September for the three months to August. The firm's latest figures were good, but they need to be, with forecasts putting the shares on a forward P/E of a rather heady 40 -- nearly three times the long-term FTSE average of around 14.

tomasz - 10 Sep 2012 11:47 - 4055 of 5941

nice to see 20 again..and problem in the same time...., statement next week with price ahead and right on the long term resistance..cant go easy can it...it would be sick to be not complicated..

tomasz - 10 Sep 2012 21:35 - 4056 of 5941

there's got to be lot of money to support 20's from tomorrow after US-close massage..i may have been wait a day too long..i may get a bit of abuse tomorrow..lol

tomasz - 11 Sep 2012 08:48 - 4057 of 5941
