Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Woodie,

It is not a case of them not being able to provide a feed for certain companies, it is usually due to the RNS being mislabelled at their end, which means it does not get flagged at our end - I will contact them again to discuss the issue,

Ian

Ian - Who is providing your company zone info as they could do with a prod IMHO?

I've been trawling through "major shareholders" for a load of recent additions to my watchlist and there don't appear to be any updates beyond April.

I've even checked a couple of FTSE leviathans just to be sure that it's not just the microcaps being neglected.

I thought this was a really useful addition, when it first appeared on MoneyAM, but it isn't much help if all the holdings are well out of date.

INDU intraday packed up and went home at 6.30pm our time. Streaming OK.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 01 Dec 2005 21:13 - 4072 of 7315

Kayak,

I'll be administering one hefty *thwap* to James tomorrow for that.

I've only just finished fixing it.

I'm a tad grumpy :)

Mr Mole - 02 Dec 2005 10:27 - 4073 of 7315

Morning...I'm on the 'limited streaming' service, but sometimes it's limited to a split second..i.e. flashes back to the "sick of limited streaming" question...well yes, I am, when it's 0.035 of a second. Don't know if it's been covered on this thread..checked the last few pages.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 02 Dec 2005 10:32 - 4074 of 7315

Mr Mole,

This function should last longer thana split second, you shoudld connect to streaming have somewhere between 30 seconds a few minutes depending on how many users are connected.

It seems like you are struggling to download the applet - may be worth re installing the java, by clicking on the word Java at the top of the stockwatch screen.

You may also be having problems if you are behind a proxy server which is slowing the access and then just flashing it up at the last minute before the contended page comes up,
