mitzy - 15 Sep 2008 11:16

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=HBOS&S

The chart looks like one long suicide note.

Dow Jones showing more weakness...could go below 10,000 today

Correct, there now 9984

Clubman3509 - 06 Oct 2008 15:18 - 408 of 569

FTSE could touch 4000 this week. Lets hope not

scotinvestor - 06 Oct 2008 15:21 - 409 of 569

they'll be nothing left almost in that case

bag of chips in my local will be more expensive than shares

Clubman3509 - 06 Oct 2008 15:26 - 410 of 569

scotinvestor - 06 Oct 2008 15:51 - 411 of 569

never had one mate......so i dont know.......has broon the cloon or sidekick blunder boy said anything yet.......better not or they will make it worse.
mind u, couldnt be as bad as devious hornby who tells lies to shareholders......telegraph recently had great quotes showing his lies 6 months from when he made statements on dividends.

hlyeo98 - 06 Oct 2008 16:35 - 412 of 569

Tomorrow will see another down day for banks.

Clubman3509 - 06 Oct 2008 16:44 - 413 of 569

Why

cynic - 06 Oct 2008 16:49 - 414 of 569

concur .... will depend to quite a large extent as to where Dow closes, or more precisely, where its indicators are tomorrow morning ...... as i write Dow is 9865 (-460) with FTSE showing 4578(-5 from close)

skinny - 06 Oct 2008 16:58 - 415 of 569

cynic FTSE was 4617.24 before auction and 4589.19 after!

Clubman3509 - 06 Oct 2008 17:01 - 416 of 569

Can anyone tell me where trades after UT come from.

skinny - 06 Oct 2008 17:04 - 417 of 569

They are the uncrossing trade in an auction.

Clubman3509 - 06 Oct 2008 17:07 - 418 of 569

Trades after UT

cynic - 06 Oct 2008 17:07 - 419 of 569

the levels i gave were merely for guidance tomorrow

cynic - 07 Oct 2008 08:18 - 420 of 569

so far so very good .... even managed to buy a further 50% this morning at 165, so average on latest venture is 170

Clubman3509 - 07 Oct 2008 08:23 - 421 of 569

We now need dickhead Darling to to cut interest rates by 1% as our Aussie cousins. Bold strokes are needed to inspire confidence.

cynic - 07 Oct 2008 08:30 - 422 of 569

the rest of the european gov'ts are no better .... you would have thought they would have learnt from bernanke, but obviously not

required field - 07 Oct 2008 08:40 - 423 of 569

A .25% cut would be a complete waste of time.....at a guess we could be in for a .5% cut.....as there is a lot of inflation, I doubt whether we will see .75% or 1% cuts....but then again who knows ?.

hlyeo98 - 07 Oct 2008 08:48 - 424 of 569

Cynic, you were too hasty this morning. Be patient

Falcothou - 07 Oct 2008 09:07 - 425 of 569

Banks seem to have imploded bought lloyds at 218 and hbos at 167 probably too early

cynic - 07 Oct 2008 09:27 - 426 of 569

not so bright of me after all ..... very strange
