It could be gas above a crude accumulation....quite common in oil strikes....

I still stick with the official timeline of events from DES pre-drill. Taking into account a bit of bad weather and a few hiccups, and all being well some slow drilling due to encountering some zones of interest, a few days delay to the schedule should be about right, so from today up until I suggest next Wednesday (for 7 days delay) there could be news out any time. So now the excitement starts.
Certainly not a duster IMO, something of interest is there IMV.

just a couple of observations .....
DES has certainly been a dilatory in keeping the market informed
however
they have already said that there would be news by month end - i.e. a week today (wednesday)
while admitting my own constant vacillation, i think the odds still favour an indecisive first result
but
DES will also be aware of the need to keep everyone on board, so i would expect any rns to make as many positive noises as possible

much as i hate to agree with cynic{ only jesting C } l have a gut feeling samples being analyised are proving very difficult to interpret and indeed any RNS will put as positive a slant on affairs as is possible as half the investing community and their dogs appear to have a position /...not suggesting for a second it has much bearing on this well, but does it not seem a little strange that CEO lan Duncan sold 210,000 shares @ 98P a few days before rig arrived ?

This dogs position is very little in RKH just incase there's a small profit to be made.

personally l can wait for RNS ......day trading this has been most fiscally rewarding - juste have to be a little cautious a negative RNS doesnt come out of the blue ( as they always do ! ) while holding ....
