THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Actualy very interwesting that poll so now do I tacticaly vote for UKIP or do I vote for labour to best hurt the Tories......hmmmmmmm

goldfinger - 15 May 2014 08:59 - 40732 of 81564

And more good news for labour another poll showing them on top.

Ahhhh Hays you had 2 good days, I hope you enjoyed them.........

Vote Monster gf, you know it makes sense.

cynic - 15 May 2014 09:02 - 40734 of 81564

or be like fossy and be too arrogant to vote at all

anyway, as i wrote yesterday, the eu elections really have very little interest to joe public (35/37% turnout i'ld guess) let alone impact on GE result
still, i dare say wallace and grommet and a couple of you buffoons on here will make a meal of whatever result emanates

Oh dear!

My wife, who is walking our dog, has just phoned to tell me, that as she walked past, there are two paramedics, five police cars, two ambulances and an Anglia TV van outside the Dunham's home.

Haven't yet switched on the TV. However, this does very much look like suicide or attempted suicide.

Hopefully, the totally onesided and totally unfair 'Extradition to the USA' shit is going to hit the fan big time now.

ExecLine - 15 May 2014 09:09 - 40736 of 81564

This was how it was a couple of days ago, when they got news that Thursday was 'Extradition Day':

Where did they conduct these polls? At the local boozer after throwing out time??

exec - who????

ExecLine - 15 May 2014 09:22 - 40740 of 81564

Cynic,

Funnily enough, just click on the links on my previous posts and all will be explained about my neighbours, Paul and Sandra Dunham.

Haystack - 15 May 2014 09:30 - 40741 of 81564

They are two people who are legally being extradited for a multimillion dollar fraud that was investigated by the police, a grand jury and the FBI.

goldfinger - 15 May 2014 09:37 - 40742 of 81564

Yes hays is correct.

goldfinger - 15 May 2014 09:40 - 40743 of 81564

Another shocking Q1 GDP reading, this time Portugal. -0.7% vs expectations of +0.1%. That's France, Portugal and Italy all missed today............could Europe drag the World Economy down!!!!!!!

cynic - 15 May 2014 10:26 - 40744 of 81564

ah indeed ... i've told everyone for ages that the eurozone economy was still in very poor health, unlike our own .... but of course the usual suspects poo-pooed that as it ran at odds to their supposed political leanings

VICTIM - 15 May 2014 10:31 - 40745 of 81564

Ever more reason to be at least wary of this Europe.

Which month will it be when gf admits that the Conservative will probably win the GE? Will he wait until the actual week of the election or change his view months earlier? He likes to be on the winning side so he will have to jump ship at some point.

cynic - 15 May 2014 11:02 - 40748 of 81564

you may be convinced, but no one else is

that said, sticky and fossy are still in denial that the uk economy is recovering strongly, while even their party leaders confirm that that is so - though it must stick in their craw

Haystack - 15 May 2014 11:21 - 40749 of 81564

I am not convinced. I meant would gf finally admit that they would win even if the Conservatives were way ahead in the polls.

cynic - 15 May 2014 11:56 - 40750 of 81564

you mean like neil kinnock was? :-)
