Never could keep a secret.

This_is_me - 02 Feb 2004 17:36 - 4077 of 23498

Well if GD updates the game tonight I'm definately over the 100k. Its steak all round for everyone else - I have eaten the OYSters so I'm stuffed.

I'm keeping my AHT, there is plenty more to come over the next couple of years. I'm hoping that they will do as well for me as NHP has over the last two and a half years. (That doesn't mean that I won't sell if things turn nasty.)

Socrates - 02 Feb 2004 17:54 - 4078 of 23498

Hi Hilary and Jeff. how's it going?

Stockbunny
Obviously you don't know me well enough yet. I never run out of sherry trifle. Not only do I keep an emergency supply, but I have an emergency emergency supply and also a Kanban system with a 30 second re-supply time. Just occassionally I run a special, brandy trifle or champagne trifle. The champagne one has to be brought out rather carefully because if it gets to Vasey's ears she's into the cafe like an express train and it can be dangerous for other cafe inmates.

This_is_me - 02 Feb 2004 18:33 - 4079 of 23498

The emergency supply is getting a bit like the Green Godesses in colour and age and smelling of dirty old socs! Better ditch it before the EnvironMENTAL Health people take it to the same NHP Old Food Home that they took the green doughnuts to.

Hilary

Thanks for the comment about the oysters.

jeffmack - 02 Feb 2004 18:52 - 4080 of 23498

Not got time to sit and chat, a train awaits to take me home....choo choo

Socrates - 02 Feb 2004 19:23 - 4081 of 23498

T_I_M
How can you infer such a thing, even to emergency emergency supply is only a few hours old. Green is my favourite colour, but not in trifle.

Bubbly time, where's Vasey?

little woman - 02 Feb 2004 19:43 - 4082 of 23498

mmmmmmmm hello all,

forget the bubbly, a nice crisp chardonnay would be extremely welcome now.

I'm going to have to stop trading CFD's and just consentrate on old fashioned investing. (How many time have I said that in the last couple of weeks!)

little woman - 02 Feb 2004 19:46 - 4083 of 23498

vasey were are you? Its monday - I don't think it's evening class night. For some reason I think that's Thursday but I may be off base - my memory pretty bad nowadays................

snoball - 02 Feb 2004 19:46 - 4084 of 23498

several, little woman. :-)

little woman - 02 Feb 2004 19:47 - 4085 of 23498

:-), I think I'm on my 3rd glass (and I rarely drink) :-)

Socrates - 02 Feb 2004 19:50 - 4086 of 23498

little woman
Chardonnay is only bubbly without the bubbles, isn't it?

little woman - 02 Feb 2004 19:53 - 4087 of 23498

thats good - :-) LOL

little woman - 02 Feb 2004 19:58 - 4088 of 23498

I must listen to my own advice sometimes..............

little willie - 02 Feb 2004 19:59 - 4089 of 23498

Evening all, not much happening today for me, overall down a tad but very slow
action all round.
TIM ..Still going like a boeing, go on my boy.
I've been in & out of the mollusc since listing but its always been a promises of jam tommorrow; Davidson came & went, went into Clubhaus and Cyprotex and he brought in Monroe the saviour of Matalan who he alledgedly met in his local in Cheshire, Monroe did **** all save line his pockets with millions of shares, price continues to be cr*p. Still watch 'em on the screen but its a slow death for many long termers such as Ladron, Damian et al.nice guys who must be down a packet.

Their marketing & PR are just about the worst and at appears they tell lies!!!
Dyor and all that but having studied them religiously for a number of years,
imho I wouldn't touch em with a bargepole!
Certainly wouldn't help your current position.

Bottle of ice cold Millers for me please and I'll snooze it off in the corner.

Golddog - 02 Feb 2004 22:51 - 4090 of 23498

Good Evening everybody.

Well i went for two weeks without a drink and i consider that a success! Pass the Bods im bloody thirsty.

8 ball, nice comments from MasterRsi there, if i remember rightly he was an absolute racist kind of guy and expected to play my shares game - no chance.

Jenny, What to do with you (i have a few ideas!) In keeping with Investment game rules (where are they? - no idea) you are suppose to pick 3 stocks all in one go my love. I therefore require one more stock pick for which you have 10k spare then i can put you in the game. That's to be fair to everyone i think.
:-)

littlewoman, please feel free to slap me across the face, thanks. (just for fun)
:-)

Bunny, You lovely little fur thing you i have replaced all feta cheese just for you.
:-)

Now if you dont mind i will jump head first into a vat of Bods - cheers.

vasey - 02 Feb 2004 22:55 - 4091 of 23498

I'm here...lurking quietly in the corner.....enjoying the champagne trifle. Thanks, Socs! Evening course tomorrow, so off to do my homework now. 'Night!

Golddog - 02 Feb 2004 22:57 - 4092 of 23498

Hi All
Congrats TIMbo, great achievement.

VASEY BABE....GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CREDITORS MEETING TODAY,
I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO YOU SO BEST OF LUCK.

Don't forget "Illegitimus nil carborundum" at all times.

stockbunny - 03 Feb 2004 14:34 - 4095 of 23498

GD - Thank you! Now I can enjoy a decent lunch!
Greek feta salad, bottle of plonk (sorry GD...decent bottle of cab sauv'..)
Large bowl of Soc's wonderful sherry trifle, large halogen lamp,
and one of those too-good-to-be-true holiday panoramic view style posters
(pinched out of the local travel agents) pinned to
the wall to view - just place a deck chair in front and enjoy....
Ahhhhh that's me settled for the afternoon!!!!

Little Willie - oh clever person, very impressive!!
I love these..ummm..no actual knowledge of Latin at all you see
but I love guessing....
Umm..."It would be improper for there to be no abrasive" (???!!)
Not in these kitchens it wouldn't be (he-he)
seriously not a clue, but guessing was fun!!!
