Interesting - or not
If you look at the buy order for 100,000 shares at 15.03 - it adds 200,000 to the total
maybe not so interesting - but it does make you wonder whethet you can trust the additions at all

most share vols. are not to be trusted on LSE figs., many brokers use Swiss markets e.g., they don`t show here, I bgt. some SEO the other week and no sign
of them here, happens more and more often.

Its nice to see this one steady with new investors especially as they have probably came in on the back of rhps and trendwatch. Therefore their aspirations for SEO is more fitting for the long term strategy and not the herd who bump the price up by 2p to cash in that afternoon

Two sales of 500000 shares each.

The more "churn" of investors we get the better, so many people have made a packet on these so its only natural that many will bail out to liquidate funds.

The 2 sells of 500,000 look more like a matched buy and a sell through the sets system - doesn't it ?
It is unlikeely that the seller would have got a full 22.50 for that volume if he sold directly through a broker - similarly - the buyer has done well picking them up at less than the 22.85 he would have paid through a normal broker.
I guess I am asking the question?

i've said it before and i'll say it again. i will never understand this shares lark. you get days when buys outweigh sells and the sp goes down . today , sells outweigh buys and the sp goes up. not the first time this has happened. tfc seemed to think this was a good thing. come to think of it, we haven't seen tfc for a while.

The first 500,000 was at 22.50, if it was a sell then the second 500,000 would not be a sell at 22.62, they would have dropped the price below 22.50 ?

Hello Aldwick
re post 4079, I rang packagin Automation this afternoon and apparently Neil Ashton (the contact name on your post)was in a meeting. I spoke to a colleague of his who said that the news relates to a new development that is at least 12 months away. they could not say if it is in direct competition with SEO, it would be good if one of our more technical posters could ring and have a chat with them to get some accurate info to post here so that we have a reasoned analasys of potential competition. I am sure that a certain person on this thread will try to milk it for all he can in the most negative way,
Not once have I even contemplated selling through all of the ramblings and rants of someone on this thread, yet this post did worry me and I sold half of my holding. I know that this is a mistake and I shall be buying them back ASAP as the long term view of SEO is outstanding and I am happy that with the stable of products that they are developing they will increase my wealth over the next few years.
Regards
Nick

They could be sells. Maybe , maybe giving a little more on the size and /or have a known buyer. Anybody with level 2 viewing. (can't afford it myself. Overall volumes not that high.

On a wider note - since some European markets were closed today, trading volumes overall were generally very thin - with little guidance compared to normal. Good to see that SEO rose even slightly today. Bodes well for the future.
Nick, "Competition" is good for a no. of reasons and I don't see this as a negative. Also creates generic awareness and proof that the technology is well sought after. There are ways of getting around patents but SEO are still in the driving position. Probably easier for a Big Plc to try and buy them out rather than competete, in the short term. That would be great news for us, of course......
