Man U fans very noisy up to now. Mind they haven't had to travel very far, just how far is it from London to Southampton :0)

Chris Carson - 08 Dec 2014 21:56 - 4116 of 6918

Another skanky win.

Louis van Gaal tells Gary Neville to 'pay attention to his words' for former Man United's 'pub match' comment
Gary Neville's prediction United's clash with Liverpool this weekend could be “the Dog and Duck versus the Red Lion” does not go down well with United manager

Brilliant!!! LOL!!!!

KidA - 09 Dec 2014 12:13 - 4121 of 6918

Seems the drain from playing in Europe is nothing next to the damage from the Christmas party; never mind the busy schedule, let the players have a piss up. Both teams were garbage, just Southampton didn't stink as much.

Cheers,
KidA

STOP PRESS

LIVERPOOL ARE SHIT!!!

Come on you reds, give it a go.

doodlebug4 - 09 Dec 2014 21:05 - 4123 of 6918

Another terrible refereeing decision - red card for that, what a joke! Agreed 'tho, Liverpool are poor.

ExecLine - 09 Dec 2014 21:43 - 4124 of 6918

But Gerrard isn't.

Stan - 09 Dec 2014 21:45 - 4125 of 6918

Lucky that Basel only got one, looking for 3 pts now on Boxing day.

ExecLine - 09 Dec 2014 21:54 - 4126 of 6918

Surprising too, that Gerrard didn't get a penalty when the Basel goalie brought him down.

Chris Carson - 09 Dec 2014 21:57 - 4127 of 6918

At least Gerard was honest, team not good enough. If Van Persie or Rooney get the chances that Basel had they will get murdered at Old Trafford on Sunday.

doodlebug4 - 10 Dec 2014 19:21 - 4128 of 6918

Geoff Stelling is a class act as a presenter, much preferable to smarmy Gary Lineker!

Chris Carson - 10 Dec 2014 21:02 - 4129 of 6918

Good goal Nasri!

goldfinger - 10 Dec 2014 21:38 - 4130 of 6918

Gerard as lost all his pace imo. Never a penalty, and was a sending off for Liverpool player.

Liverpool were crying out for a player like Scholes or Souness who could put their foot on the ball slow the game down and direct it from the midfield.

It was all too fast and furious, balls not going to feet.

Liverpool had better improve or they have had it for next season.

Chris Carson - 10 Dec 2014 22:43 - 4131 of 6918

£100 million pounds spent by Liverpool and expecting the team to gel overnight, unrealistic? the loss of Suarez and injury to Sturridge hasn't helped. Steven Gerard will always be a legend at Liverpool Football Club.

Bit rich gf having a go at Liverpool, United have more jam than Hartleys in recent games. £150 million alleged funds for Van God to spend in the summer, what could possibly go wrong?

Well done City, played well tonight against the odds. Without Aquero, Company and for most of the match Silva.

Under the lights at Goodison in the alleged Mickey Mouse Europa League tomorrow night, Everton play their final match in the group stages. Already outright winners of the group. No doubt Liverpool and Celtic fans having been knocked out of the Champions League won't be arsed if neither of them win it. :0)

"Bit rich gf having a go at Liverpool, United have more jam than Hartleys in recent games. £150 million alleged funds for Van God to spend in the summer, what could possibly go wrong?".........ends

Yep but Chris you know what they say about lucky teams, lucky teams usualy go on to become great teams. And if we are that bad and in 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what does it say for the rest of the league below us?.

Anyway them young central defenders are learning very fast. It maybe that we dont need to spend a lot of money in that area.

I certainly wouldnt bet against it knowing UTDS history.

£100 million Jan

£200 million Summer.
