THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

MaxK - The below is spot on..

I believe a great many ordinary people are also sick to death of being told they're racist bigots, when all they want is to live in a Britain they can recognise as Britain, not a suburb of Islamabad or Peshawar.

cynic - 23 May 2014 12:20 - 41273 of 81564

i am absolutely in favour of taking a far more stringent policy on immigration - though I recognise the almost insuperable problem with accepting non-criminals from other eu countries - but you guys seem close to heading down the road of ethnic cleansing for which nationalism is but a euphemism

Haystack - 23 May 2014 12:22 - 41274 of 81564

Cleansing? Well some of them could do with a bath.

tomasz - 23 May 2014 12:24 - 41275 of 81564

I can feel and understand these people. And I can understand that "these people " are not enough to propel the whole UK-machinery to keep strong position in fast moving world.

Dont forget no EP talk.

Shortie - 23 May 2014 13:14 - 41285 of 81564

The problem within EU freedom of movement is that as a rich nation we're like a magnet attracting people from poorer EU countries that want a better standard of life but have no way of paying for it and haven't contributed to our system.

I have no problem with immigration if that person has secured a job here and pays taxes, is self sufficient within work, isn't sending money out of the country, has medical insurance and makes every effort to fit into the community where they are living.

tomasz - 23 May 2014 13:59 - 41286 of 81564

I didn't pay a penny taxes from spreads..ughh..I may not qualify..:(

tomasz - 23 May 2014 14:01 - 41287 of 81564

yet I contributed to economy by spending.. qualified here maybe..:)

tomasz - 23 May 2014 14:02 - 41288 of 81564

not sending out!..lol

tomasz - 23 May 2014 14:04 - 41289 of 81564

surely fit in community!...especially with that gray Lexus..ughh..they must love me...yeah..( maybe not..) lol

----

but they seems happy to unswer when I go first - good morning, how things going..
(maybe not..i don't know..) :)
