Provexis Buy at 3.25p - Target 8p (PXS)

peeyam - 08 May 2007 11:30

LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

As usual, pls do ur own research.

I'm staying on the sidelines for now, before I get back in

Anyway, sold out of this tomato fruity thingy thing...thank you.. second time I've made a small profit....must have held the stock for at least an hour...hey ! this is fun when it works !...

Balerboy - 08 Sep 2009 11:06 - 417 of 1204

Seems you jumped ship too soon RF, then you tend to abandon ship on a regular basis.

marni - 08 Sep 2009 11:32 - 418 of 1204

rf seems too hysterical for stock market

required field - 08 Sep 2009 14:10 - 419 of 1204

No, you have to take profits if it's a rubbish stock like this....if I come back in it's for a profit....5000 earnings it's a joke....so I'm happy with my profit..so far this has proved nothing...!.

cynic - 08 Sep 2009 15:01 - 420 of 1204

too early? ..... only time will tell .... but for sure, a banked profit is a real profit

required field - 08 Sep 2009 15:22 - 421 of 1204

Can't watch it all the time so rather than come back to see this has possibly slumped to below 3p..took a small profit..plenty of other fish out there.

cynic - 09 Sep 2009 08:56 - 422 of 1204

managed to scare myself bit with these yesterday, but i noted that 30m were traded then ..... and now i am back to b/e ...... all very strange stuff

blanche - 09 Sep 2009 09:00 - 423 of 1204

Cynic i now you dont have to much confidence here but you should have topped Yesterday.

required field - 09 Sep 2009 09:03 - 424 of 1204

Unbelievable it's off again....

blanche - 09 Sep 2009 09:04 - 425 of 1204

Shorters are gone normal service is resumed.

required field - 09 Sep 2009 09:06 - 426 of 1204

Frankly this is just pure gambling with this one...I should have kept my holding but anything can happen here...could still go back to 3p...amazing movement...

cynic - 09 Sep 2009 09:09 - 427 of 1204

blanche ..... with hindsight you're right, but my exposure is more than enough, so that if all goes pear-shaped i shall only get a bruising rather than anything worse

required field - 09 Sep 2009 09:14 - 428 of 1204

It's just moving on sentiment.....my view is if you can make some money on this do so earlier rather than later....it will be years before something commercial comes out of this company...with pharmas it's a slow process...

Balerboy - 09 Sep 2009 09:15 - 429 of 1204

Glad I didn't jump ship like some........

Toya - 10 Sep 2009 07:31 - 430 of 1204

BB: not so much 'jumping ship' as capitalising on a spectacular rise and then picking up some more way down... risky, but it's great when it works.

I'm back in, with a small profit so far. Unable to go to the AGM today though - is anyone planning to be there? Any volunteers for some notes??

NB: the fact that I'm not going should do wonders for the sp!

cynic - 10 Sep 2009 07:56 - 431 of 1204

Toya is well known in some circles as the Angel of Death, one of her more spectacular successes coming after BRR AGM a couple of years back!

Toya - 10 Sep 2009 07:58 - 432 of 1204

Thanks for reminding me Cynic - did you not also buy shares in BRR at that time??
