Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

cynic - 31 Jan 2011 14:33 - 4154 of 6906

one can live in hope even if not great expectation, though it eventually came to pass in Ireland, despite some pretty appalling treatment to the locals going back to mediaeval days - Henry V and prob earlier if i remember my history correctly

Ruth - 31 Jan 2011 15:34 - 4155 of 6906

Is there a bit of a love fest going on with Haystack and Fred?
Im just sat here wondering who plays which role ?

Stan - 31 Jan 2011 15:48 - 4156 of 6906

Never mind Wondering how about thinking for a change.

In The Land of the B - 31 Jan 2011 15:49 - 4157 of 6906

LOL Ruth :)

cynic - 31 Jan 2011 15:50 - 4158 of 6906

now now, no need to get bitchy .... or perhaps you think Ruth doesn't know the off-side rule either

and as a very rare poster, no doubt you have been spending all that time thinking a lot, so what was your carefully considered conclusion?

In The Land of the B - 31 Jan 2011 15:54 - 4159 of 6906

Since parrot merely.......err.......parrots and freddie few brains takes the supercilious superiority position, I think you can work that out...... :)

In The Land of the B - 31 Jan 2011 15:55 - 4160 of 6906

Ruth's got more balls than most men :)

cynic - 31 Jan 2011 16:01 - 4161 of 6906

just because she's got a pulse, there's no need to get overexcited

Ruth - 31 Jan 2011 16:02 - 4162 of 6906

lol

Think I hit a raw nerve with Stan, I used to think it was Stan and Fred in a love fest,
Obviously Fred has moved onto a younger guy now and its still raw for Stan

aw bless ;-)

Stan is it true that Fred shouts his own name out when hes coming?

Fred1new - 31 Jan 2011 16:05 - 4163 of 6906

Has somebody risen from the dead?

Ruth - 31 Jan 2011 16:13 - 4164 of 6906

Fred, lets get one thing straight (pardon the pun)

I will still be alive long after youve started pushing up daisies,

Oh brilliant. Life has been breathed into this thread :)

"Has somebody risen from the dead?"

That's what he thinks everytime he looks in the mirror.
You can spot the delusional ones a mile away......

Haystack - 31 Jan 2011 16:39 - 4167 of 6906

"In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Syrian President Bashar Assad suggested that the pressure he will face from the Syrian people to institute reforms will be less than that faced by embattled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak because he has not pursued close diplomatic relations with the U.S. and Israel, a position that he said puts Arab leaders at odds with their citizens."

This is part of the problem with Egypt. The peace treaty with Israel was not done willingly by Egypt. It was done willingly by Egypt's rulers.

Abbas in the West Bank should be gone soon as well.

cynic - 31 Jan 2011 16:43 - 4168 of 6906

you mean like UK signing up to the Treaty of Rome? ..... so if you change the gov't previously ratified treaties are invalid? .... an interesting thought (sorry, you don't do that too well, so try statement) which i'm sure will be latched onto throughout the world

Haystack - 31 Jan 2011 16:48 - 4169 of 6906

ITLOTB

"There's nothing you'd love more (apart form nuclear strikes on Israel and the killing of Jews everywhere) than Egypt declaring war against Israel yet again."

Once again you relate this to Jews and some sort of hatred towards them. This is not the case. There is no sign that Arabs hate Jews or that other peoppe opposed to Israel hate Jews. They hate the state of Israel and how it behaves. Removing allies of Israel such as Egypt may make Israel behave better (admitedly very unlikely though).

In The Land of the B - 31 Jan 2011 16:53 - 4170 of 6906

Removing anybody who disagrees with the parrot and his partner would make all the people here who laugh at both of you behave better.

Things are reaching a sad state when the parrot starts copy and pasting what I've said LOL !

In The Land of the B - 31 Jan 2011 16:56 - 4171 of 6906

Ya wohl, herr hayes !
Removing ze allies of France would make the Britishers behave better.
Heil Hizbollah !
Heil Hamas !
Heil Hitler !
Heil Hayes !

Haystack - 31 Jan 2011 16:56 - 4172 of 6906

The UK signed up to the Treaty of Rome and we had a referendum in 1975 on whether we should remain in the EU. The majorty voted for it. I would venture a guess that you might get a couple of percent only in a referendum in Egypt as to whether there should be a peace treaty with Israel.

cynic - 31 Jan 2011 17:04 - 4173 of 6906

we've had a couple of changes of gov't since then, so on your nutty logic, shouldn't we "go to the people" yet again on the Treaty of Rome? ..... there are several "fun acts" too of course, like getting public response to the return of capital punishment or better still for you and your ilk, the forced repatriation of most immigrants "legal" or not
