Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

And another question politicians should start to address is why our taxpayer money is being spent fighting wars in other countries that are no concern of ours.
We have far more pressing matters requiring funds at home. If we keep interfearing in other countries then is it any wonder why they come here and wage war.

Anger as European Commission asks British taxpayers for an extra £500m
The European Commission accused of "living on a different planet" after asking for a £3.8 billion cash-increase to EU budget
By Bruno Waterfield, Brussels
2:55PM BST 28 May 2014
The European Commission has today been accused of "raiding the pockets of voters" after demanding an extra £500 million from British taxpayers to meet Brussels spending bills
The EU executive, which oversees European spending, has demanded an extra £3.8bn in cash from national governments to pay for costs - including £200 million extra help to Ukraine. The rest of the money will be spent on youth employment projects and regional policy.
National governments are furious at an increase that comes in the aftermath of EU elections victories for populist and far-Left and Right parties in Britain, France, Denmark and Greece.
"What a smart way to react to the concerns of Europe's voters, let's ask them for more money," said a European diplomat.

GF,
Post 41556
Who wrote that article.
For me it is a fair summary of the differences between Miliband and the other rabble-rousers of UKIP, BNP and the present tory party.
Cameron's idea of governing is have an idea, float it, run it for the rabble and if they respond and it is supportive of maintaining him in "office" but not power, keep it running.
If the rabble don't support the policy, called it a u-turn or that is not what he meant!
Sickening, politics.
Cameron and Farage, appeal to the football hooligans intelligentsia of the 70s period.
Rabble rousing, fascist, racist, intimidating, smearing tactics which brought Hitler to power in the 30s.
It stinks.
Cameron hasn't the political guts to face up to Salmond (wee Alex), or debate with Farage on TV.
A insincere political coward.
If the vote was for UKIP was as stated, then I hope that Clegg (if still leader) will debate live on TV with Miliband, Farage and leader of the Green party,
I cannot think of a party leader who has debased politics and much as Cameron in the last 100 years.

DB4,
Compared with Blair. Utmmh!
If they were both put in the same sack together and chucked in a pond I am not certain which would get out of the bag first, but I would think there would be a lot of fish floating on the surface.
I think, they certainly are a good advertisements for public school education and high ideals.
I wonder which leg of the trousers they roll up first?

that so-called racist poll was one of the most stupid things have ever seen in my life .... it was almost akin to a poll showing that the majority of people think tony blair should be canonised

I certainly know people who openly admit to being racist, especially those that live in areas with serious immigration problems. If you asked me if I was racist, I would say no, but plenty of people would agree.

CHESS TELECOM
i very much hope that none of our "friends" here subscribe through this company.
as a very small example of their sharp practice ......
when your contract expires, should you not agree to renew, they charge you an admin fee of £99.00 (+ VAT no doubt) for closing the account
for doing what exactly???? ..... the account should be de facto closed because it no longer exists
apparently it is all in their so-called T&Cs, no doubt buried somewhere in the minutiae.
almost needless to say, rather like Ryanair, it is effectively impossible to get beyond the first poor sucker who answers the calls
