Maintenance: Site downtime Friday 6th August @ 23:45.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 05 Aug 2004 13:18

Hello.

Since the switch over we have had a few teething issues, so to save you reading all the posts on this thread, ill list the ones that have been found, and when they have been fixed, cross them out. If things are not working despite being 'fixed', ill put them back on the list.

MoneyAM Website
Closing bid/offer prices skewed
Charts: OHLC not being saved, breaking candle sticks.
Market Scan issues.

If there is any that I have missed, please let us know.

J.

LEEWINK - 16 Aug 2004 08:05 - 418 of 616

to reset each night ! news was out wednesday, "N" appeared friday !

this was all standard before, whats happened !

Don't apologise, kick someone, I will be looking elsewhere soon, again, why fix something that ain't bust ?? whoever the progrgrammers are have made you look crap now, was it worth it really ??.

Why is it that when you find something good, it never lasts ??

Tokyo - 16 Aug 2004 08:06 - 419 of 616

streaming has just gone out

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 16 Aug 2004 08:07 - 420 of 616

LEEWINK,

During the change over some proceedures changed. The reset scripts were/are my responsibility and code which used to do it was removed. This has been rectified and the resets will happen at 4am each day.

And I do consider myself kicked.

When I try to turn streaming off on the watchlist, I get a message saying "Sorry. Your subscription does not include access to this feature". I am a Shares subscriber and did not have this problem before the changes. I have tried rebooting my PC to no avail.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Aug 2004 08:35 - 427 of 616

Pete,

I have just chekced your account and it is set correctly as a magazine subscriber, but unfortunately the ability to turn the stream off is not included in your subscription.

Ian

Pete Adams - 16 Aug 2004 08:51 - 428 of 616

Ian,
Nothing happens if I click to see trades or a chart for a share on my watchlist with streaming on. Is this no longer available for a Shares subscriber, or is it a fault with the new data feed?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Aug 2004 08:54 - 429 of 616

Pete,

you should be able to access these functions - can you tell me whether you have a firewall on your machine such as Norton or Zone Alarm?

It may be that a setting withing this is stopping you from accessing the little icon button on stockwatch,

Ian

Pete Adams - 16 Aug 2004 09:09 - 430 of 616

Ian,
Thanks for your swift response. I can now access charts and trades. I do use Norton. I just needed to turn Norton's ad blocking off for MoneyAM.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Aug 2004 09:12 - 431 of 616

No problem Pete if you have any more problems or questions feel free to contact me ian@moneyam.com
