No! Not the doughnuts or the rabbit pie - I am still on the weight loss programme. I can now say that I am a pound less that I was on December 1st; that is half a stone less than I was on 2nd January after the Christmas 'stuff yourself' season. I'll have bunny's rabbit food, since she is not around.

I'm afraid that the oysters that I ate at Christmas made me sick - ah well, at least I was able to recycle nearly all of them. I hope that in their next life that they will be better behaved. Moral of the story - don't eat oysters when there is an 'r' in the month.

Good evening all. Socks is a little late today, new exhaust for his motor car needed to be fitted.

It hasn't taken long for the sick jokes to come out has it!

Two sharks were basking in the Irish Sea, the first says "I'm hungry, but I'm bored with fish." His mate replies "OK,lets swim around to Morecambe Bay and go for a Chinese."

Trouble is with that tho Socks is that half an hour later they will want another one.

Yesterday outside temp was 48 degrees, 42 in shade, it was the hottest day in Paarl for 37 yrs.[ what sad sod keeps these records...37 yrs?].
Lot cooler today, 35-37!! At least we have a breeze and are equipped to deal with it, pool, air con etc but will welcome some respite which should be soon...aagghh. I'll have a bowl of Socs icecold amarretto trifle..yummy
