THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

cynic - 05 Jun 2014 20:01 - 41974 of 81564

Haystack - 05 Jun 2014 20:06 - 41975 of 81564

It is a real knockabout tonight.

I love the idea of gf being Enoch's rent boy.

Haystack - 05 Jun 2014 20:10 - 41976 of 81564

goldfinger - 05 Jun 2014 20:15 - 41979 of 81564

I dont bully anyone, I never threaten anyone, when I do say something it is a fact.... it happens.

That might be hard for you to get your head around.

goldfinger - 05 Jun 2014 20:17 - 41980 of 81564

Hays, Saddleworth Ohhhhhhhhh nobody here goes anywhere near that place.

goldfinger - 05 Jun 2014 20:22 - 41981 of 81564

Hays was a page boy one year for the whitsun parade.

After the walk through the village all the band and the elders used to go the pub and get pissed.

Whitsun (also Whitsunday, Whit Sunday or Whit) is the name used in the UK and Ireland[1] for the Christian festival of Pentecost, the seventh Sunday after Easter, which commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Christ's disciples (Acts of the Apostles chapter 2). In England it took on some characteristics of Beltane, which originated from the pagan celebration of Summer's Day, the beginning of the summer half-year, in Europe.[2] Whitsuntide, the week following Whitsunday, was one of three vacation weeks for the medieval villein;[3] on most manors he was free from service on the lord's demesne this week, which marked a pause in the agricultural year.[4] Whit Monday, the day after Whitsun, remained a holiday in the UK until 1971 when the movable holiday was replaced with the fixed Spring Bank Holiday in late May. Whit was the occasion for varied forms of celebration. In the North West of England, church and chapel parades called Whit Walks still take place at this time (sometimes on Whit Friday, the Friday after Whitsun).[5] Typically, the parades include brass bands and choirs; girls attending are dressed in white. Traditionally, Whit fairs (sometimes called Whitsun ales[6]) took place. Other customs such as morris dancing[7] are associated with Whit, although in many cases they have been transferred to the Spring Bank Holiday.

Cynic here we have the evidence re- to my earlier post re- to right wing press distorting the real truth on many issues in support of the Tory party...........

Daily Telegraph hack Laura Donnelly today directly blamed the tragic death of a baby and the poisoning of other children by contaminated drips on the NHS:

telegraph-nhs-lies.png?w=529&h=305

In fact, the contaminated drips were supplied by a private company called ITH Pharma.

But Donnelly and her sick colleagues at the Telegraph have no qualms about using such a tragedy – and outright lies – to continue their political point-scoring in support of the coalition government’s commercialisation of the NHS.

Well done Laura. You’ve managed to drop below even my extremely low expectations of gutter press hacks when it comes to decency.

I’ve just got one question for you Laura.

How do you sleep at night?

goldfinger - 06 Jun 2014 00:51 - 41991 of 81564

NOW ASK YOURSELF WHY DIDNT THIS JOURNALIST IN HER HEADLINE PUT...........

15 babies poisoned by private company ITH PHARMA DRIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE all know why and so do you if you were genuine. finito.
