They would fall asleep in two minutes Stan and perhaps walk out in less than ten minutes watching Burnley. VRS are out to impress, hence watching a first class team opposed to a going no where , third class team. :-))

Well, I've finally got a reply from HMG:

"I can confirm we have two individuals seconded to Versarien and a third person seconded to Rolls Royce UK.
We are unable to provide you with the individual's name due to an absolute exemption under Section 40(2) of the Act."

So, there we have it. The government think that RR with tens of thousands of employees and billions of pounds of exports justifies the secondment of someone from the DTI. What does that say about the secondment of two senior figures to Versarien? That one fact alone is massive. I repeat MASSIVE!

Graphene Enhanced Aircraft Interior Parts
Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has received an order for the supply of Versarien's graphene nano platelets to a design and manufacturing company for use in fire retardant aircraft interior parts for a major global airline.

The order is for an initial 1 kg of the Company's graphene nano platelets and it is antipated that further orders will be received to fulfil the end-customers contract. The specific aircraft interior parts have gained the necessary certification from a USA-based, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified, fire testing laboratory.

Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are very pleased to have received this order for our graphene nano platelets for an application that is in a new area for Versarien. This order demonstrates further industrial traction for using graphene in various applications. We look forward to working with this customer and with others to develop commercial products in the aircraft interior sector that could be enhanced by the use of graphene."

A lot of ABS Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is used is aircraft, which is fire retardant and flame resistant and heat. May be being mixed, which also reduces weight.
It is the plastic that you see round the windows etc. So the product has been cleared for aviation.

If this takes off, airlines, manufactures will be all over this. The fuel saving could be pretty substantial.

Versarien head honcho and major shareholder Neill Ricketts open’s the interview by showcasing the commercial opportunity in the Aim-listed graphene business. During the face to face with IG TV Jeremy Naylor, the CEO peruses the companies mission statement before highlighting the recent MOU signed with their Chinese partner.
Ricketts doesn’t pull any punches as he explained the companies model, patents, and scope in which Versarien offers potential, as shares trade strongly in the market. The CEO breaks down the number of associated partners which helps shorten the development curve, as the companies most senior director quickly reminds the audience, ” it’s exciting times in the graphene space ” VRS is not alone in this arena with partners complimenting the business, yet there are other less successful operations down the value chain.

Posted on another bb this evening by serratia - in response to critics arguing that VRS is overvalued when compared to its peers:

17 Nov '18 - 20:58 - 48686 of 48687

Someone kindly posted in one of those boxes in the header a few companies to compare.

Elcora M.Cap £5.9m but the auditor says they aren't a going concern so nothing to look at there.

XG Sciences built a large plant and can't make the sales to fill it. Now in a difficult financial position. By the look of their last fundraising they seem to value themselves at around £50m. Large losses.

Nanoxplore M.Cap £66.5m Sales £4.6m, wages £3.7m loss £2.6m

Talga M.Cap £56m, no sales ,loss £5.6m These guys make VRS look very under valued.

First Graphene M.Cap £37m no sales £4m loss. Directors pay themselves so much the share holders vote heavily against their pay. Look to be working more in their own interests than the share holders. VRS only worth 5* this company that has no sales.

VRS looks undervalued against this peer group.
