Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Yes youl be paying more tax ALF, were going from taxing income to taxing assets and your and hays houses are our top priority.
Plus we'l be banging up the rate of inheritance tax, no longer will the posh boys have big hand downs.
Hard WORKING people will gain under labour, lay about posh boys who have had everything given on a plate will find that that plate as been swiftly be been put back in the cupboard.
No longer will the disabled sick and poor be targeted. It will be a complete U turn with the Over priviledged toffs baring the brunt of cuts and their gravy boat cut off at source.
God save our gracious Queen god save our noble Queen god save................
ohhh got carried away their thought i was ALF.

I think that if UKIP had chosen a better candidate than Roger Helmer, perhaps, the result and Newark may have been different.
Helmer appears to be a tory remnant of bygone days tory blusterers and the "old" brigade!
Guessing, that at the GE that many UKIP vote will help decimate the tory vote.
Manuel and the rest of the tory has "beens" or never "weres" had better get Terresa elected as their leader.
She should go down a bomb!

Most people avoid inheritance tax by setting up trusts. Labour won't have mansion taxes as most of their senior members have pricey houses.

What is happening in the Rebecca Brook's case?
I wonder if she will write a "tell all" article if she "goes" down.
Could be interesting reading.

Kerry sounds like Donald Rumsfeld .
Why did we have to have the Amricans with all the power and the Arabs with all the oil ?

Hays who mentioned Mansion tax, I certainly didnt no thats the lib Dems, no instead we will alter the council tax bands and make sure the less well off pay a lot less and the rich a heck of a lot more plus we will bring in new revolutionary taxes on Golf and Tennis clubs , gentlemens clubs the womens institute, public and boarding schools and a new tax on TRUSTS.
No longer will beer be taxed but spirits will have at least a 50% new Gout tax applied to it.
All private medcine, hospitals Doctors and dentists will have a tax placed on them which can be passed down to the customer.
We will also make sure the House of lords is scrapped.

taxing clubs
leave aside that many clubs already pay both VAT and other taxes, what would be the benefit to anyone of driving them out of business?
anyway, i'm sure a rod or football ticket tax would raise infinitely more
stupid boy sticky

No footbal cricket and angling is exempt, being working class sports.
We are also thinking of introducing a golf club license similar to the rod license in angling.
Therefore the less golf clubs you have the less tax you pay and the envoirement grass and that, thrives.

cricket working class?????
dear boy; where have you been hiding all these years
MCC working class - don't think so somehow!
and don't forget that many village cricket clubs are still based on the local squire's land, and of course his butler may well be captain too, his lordship being now too gouty to play :-)
much more effective would be a tax on golf trollies and buggies
that would exempt me for starters, as i always carry!

Manuel,
Get back in the kitchen.
Through all the "rye" humour one area which I think will be visited, if the there is a lib/dem/lab coalition after the G/E, will be tax rules, regulations on trusts and over sea "deposits"!
By the way, what is cricket?
Is it that girls' game where they all dress up in white and think they are doing a day's work!
IMF and Lagarde is right about housing!
Another out of touch unthought out policy for a U-turn.
