moneyplus - 06 Dec 2006 13:01 - 422 of 934

Sola rising fast-Merrill's note out today giving 8 value and a roadshow on every day this week in US. Yanks piling in so should continue it's rise this afternoon.

cynic - 06 Dec 2006 13:04 - 423 of 934

money+ ...... have posted the synopsis of the note on the SOLA thread ...... can't work out which part of greed should come into play (lol) ...... buy back now having sold at 430 this morning, or wait to see if MMs already have enough stock on their books to satisfy, and thus imply a potential pull back, even if short-lived

Tonker - 06 Dec 2006 15:58 - 424 of 934

Have bought into PDR - up 50% this week and looking like a three-bagger on recovery prospects.

driver - 11 Dec 2006 11:07 - 427 of 934

smiler
Nice one not for the motors though.

soul traders - 11 Dec 2006 11:08 - 428 of 934

A few people must have laughed themselves silly at the insurers when those dopes tried to file a claim . . .

driver - 14 Dec 2006 16:53 - 429 of 934

CCT still looking good sp 120p target 200p+

soul traders - 15 Dec 2006 12:33 - 430 of 934

Premier Direct Group, tipped for a recovery recently in Shares Mag, announced in a trading update prior to today's AGM that trading is profitable and Christmas trading also progressing in line with expectations.

Potential for a three-bagger IMO. Currently still lookig a little overlooked.

PDR Bid: 52p Offer: 55p Change: 1

soul traders - 15 Dec 2006 13:11 - 431 of 934

And another tip: Cashbox (CBOX). Recently pointed out in Shares Mag as looking cheap, it has announced a number of contract wins recently for its ATM machines, and expects to hit breakeven some time in 2007.

Looks very good; I have just purchased today on the basis of the recent strong run in the SP. will try and put a thread together.

CBOX Bid: 22p Offer: 23p Change: 1.75

Driver - another one for you: Taihua (TAIH) has doubled since its IPO yesterday. PE 9 for this year. I'm in.

moneyplus - 15 Dec 2006 21:32 - 434 of 934

US Biofuel company floated on Aim yesterday and aims to build 2 power stations to run on biofuel with the proceeds.. When I've done some research I'll report back unless anyone else has already noticed it.

maestro - 15 Dec 2006 21:53 - 435 of 934

wouldn't touch biofuel at the moment...its based on hype and false logic imho...stick with telecoms like telecom plus,tHUS or even BT

hewittalan6 - 16 Dec 2006 10:09 - 436 of 934

My top tip for this year?????
Get embarrassingly, paralytically, life-threateningly, brain-picklingly smashed and have a fantastic Christmas and new year, everyone.

(Please drink responsibly)
Alan

driver - 16 Dec 2006 11:55 - 437 of 934

Al
Cheers and a merry one to you to

Please drink responsibly?

hewittalan6 - 16 Dec 2006 12:52 - 438 of 934

Yeah, you gotta put that on now. haven't you seen the adverts??
I think it means not to spill any (as if) on anyone, or swear while drinking if there are ladies present.
I am not that responsible after a few sacred libations, and so I will confine myself to drinking irresponsibly at home, and vomiting on the dog.
Dontcha just love Christmas??

soul traders - 18 Dec 2006 10:29 - 439 of 934

Dogs always seem to do badly at Christmas - it was the one day ours was guaranteed to befoul the carpet in some disgusting manner.

soul traders - 18 Dec 2006 10:32 - 440 of 934

With that in mind, my Driver's tip for the day: don't get rid of your unwanted brussels sprouts during Christmas dinner by rolling them in gravy and slipping them under the table to the dog!!
