OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.
No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.
So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Written Warnings
For certain offences, it might result in instant dismissal without a warning but, for others, your employer is likely to have a standard procedure in place to deal with any unwanted behaviour. This may include verbal and written warnings etc.
A verbal warning will usually come first and, although you may have been told off informally about your behaviour initially, if it persists, then a formalised verbal warning might then be issued. This will go down on your records and if the negative behaviour continues, then this is likely to be followed by a written warning which you will have been made aware of previously. Following a written warning, if you persist in contravening the rules as laid out by your company, the next stage is likely to result in your dismissal without further warning so its crucial you pay heed to what is and isnt acceptable behaviour and understand the likely outcome.
A written warning can be issued for a variety of reasons. It can be due to a persistent poor attendance record or being late at work. It can be due to a below standard of performance in your job that is not acceptable or, in more serious circumstances, it can come about as a result of things such as sexist comments you might be persistently making, inappropriate jokes or other behaviour which both your colleagues and/or your employer might take offence to.

Haha! Still here. I've been reading the 'house rules'; it would appear that it is up to the barman who he serves, so excuse me whilst I put my feet up, tear up your advert and have a pint of Guinness. Oh and by the way, get out of my bar. :o)
