THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Have they cancelled "help to buy"?

Fred1new - 12 Jun 2014 23:39 - 42356 of 81564

Captain U-turn acts again!

What a party!

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 00:09 - 42357 of 81564

IDS on Q time tonight what a kicking he got.

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 00:13 - 42358 of 81564

Hays as you have pointed out previously its not up to Carney when the vote goes ahead for Interest rate increases around the table at the BoE.

Its a mjority decision or have you ONCE AGAIN CONVENIENTLY FORGOTEN what you previously said.

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 00:13 - 42359 of 81564

NICE TRY...........WINK.

Haystack - 13 Jun 2014 00:45 - 42360 of 81564

IDS was excellent knight. I did like the bit when he pointed out to the Labour MP that Labour started the bedroom tax.

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 01:50 - 42361 of 81564

Not so . He was corrected by the labour MP, and REMINDED HIM THE TORRIES HAD STARTED THE SCHEME RETROSPECTIVELY.

Hays get your facts right otherwise you will be lumped in with the mass murderer and liar IDS.

aldwickk - 13 Jun 2014 08:19 - 42362 of 81564

QT last nite

Funny how they say Don't interupt me , i didn't interupt you , then they carry on doing it.

Worst performance was that Muslim girl , what a pain she was. all the pannel was against her on the issue of the Birmingham schools.

Stan - 13 Jun 2014 08:22 - 42363 of 81564

Don't feed the Troll.

MaxK - 13 Jun 2014 08:23 - 42364 of 81564

Which one?

Stan - 13 Jun 2014 08:23 - 42365 of 81564

Good question -):

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 08:24 - 42366 of 81564

Indeed thats true but 'by gum' did she tell some home truths about IDS and he looked as guilty as hell. Chris Bryant also got in on the act and I hear IDS only agreed to do the programme if certain questions were not raised on the programme but they got their 2 penneth in against him.

Stan - 13 Jun 2014 08:33 - 42367 of 81564

Smith has been a spent force for years now.

Fred1new - 13 Jun 2014 08:44 - 42368 of 81564

Stan,

The present leadership of the Conners party all look dead in the water.

I find Captain Marvel advising other European leaders what to do is laughable when he can even run a passport office in the country he is dining out on.

I hope they have checked his passport!

But I think all MPs should have their wages stopped until the unemployment and disable problems are sorted out. Might concentrate their minds a little.

Haystack - 13 Jun 2014 08:51 - 42369 of 81564

IDS was very good. It doesn't matter if activists don't like his policies. He is doing the right thing and it will be a better benefit system in the end.

Fred1new - 13 Jun 2014 08:52 - 42370 of 81564

Better for ?

Stan - 13 Jun 2014 08:52 - 42371 of 81564

Nonsense H/S, and you know it.

goldfinger - 13 Jun 2014 08:56 - 42372 of 81564

Total s-ite as usual from Hays. Blinkered.

Panellists hijack Question Time to attack Iain Duncan Smith12/06/2014

The Labour party started the bedroom tax and applied it to private housing. The Conservatives then applied it to public housing as well, which is a much fairer system.
