Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

MrT,me thinks it that akmos link thingy in the header !!!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Jan 2006 07:46 - 4239 of 7315

Mega,

You may be right, but we can't edit it as it won't finish loading due to the external problem, which means all we could do would be to delete all of the contect from the header, which probably isn't a good idea :) maybe sit tight for 30 mins or so to see whether it clears itself and if not we will take another look.

Ian

EDIT: Mega, seems to be working correctly now.

Rio Level 2 yet again :-( completely stuck

Dynamite - 24 Jan 2006 08:50 - 4242 of 7315

or going very very slow

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Jan 2006 08:52 - 4243 of 7315

Di,

Just checked it out against a seperate feed and seems fine here - there are no rogue orders, so if it is stuck, it could be one of a few things at your end.

May be worthwhile re loading the Java Plugin to see if that helps. (you can get it by clicking on Java at the top of the stockwatch page)

It may also be that depending on how many streaming windows you have open, your pc may be struggling to cope with them all, hence some of them sticking.

I have opened up a rio window and will monitor it, but as I say there are no problems here today.

its alright again now and the pc isn't struggling to cope only 12% of resources are being used. At least I managed to make 20 points on Rio this morning even with a slow level 2

ravey,

this may have been caused by a restart we had to do this morning which means it has been missed.
