Not far to go before we overtake PET , .... lol

goldfinger - 09 Oct 2009 09:19 - 427 of 3666

Hey i like the format of that chart aldwickk, have you a live link to the site please.? Financial express?.

Investigate?.

boxerdog - 09 Oct 2009 09:31 - 428 of 3666

Taken very different paths to arrive at the same point but hopefully its onwards and upwards from here on.

mwoolgar - 09 Oct 2009 09:40 - 429 of 3666

comparing AFR with PET is like comparing a broken wheelchair with Smart car ...... did not want to get too carried away with the simile!

by the way, it seems marni must have crawled back under her stone - would that she would stay there!

jimmy b - 09 Oct 2009 09:52 - 431 of 3666

A smart car is almost a broken wheelchair.

required field - 09 Oct 2009 10:01 - 432 of 3666

The graph is nice....the comparison is ridiculous....

required field - 09 Oct 2009 10:02 - 433 of 3666

Are you sure Marni is female ?.....ooooohhhh !

cynic - 09 Oct 2009 10:03 - 434 of 3666

even if not, still a raddled queen

aldwickk - 09 Oct 2009 11:01 - 435 of 3666

The reason I posted the chart is that it was interesting to see a outright speculative and volatile company like Pet who's share price over 12 months matches a company such as Afren.

Goldfinger,

The chart comes from my Barclays stockbrokers web site.

marni - 09 Oct 2009 11:54 - 436 of 3666

i have afr and hawk........so not sure why the abuse cynic........i bought both early in year and am well up on both.........hawk up almost 30% this week alone going rom 34p to max of 44p, down to 43.5p now

cynic - 09 Oct 2009 12:18 - 437 of 3666

the comparative chart tells you - everyone else anyway - far more
as for abuse, it's mild and minimal to what you like to dish out to everyone else .... so if you don't like it, i strongly suggest you adopt a humanoid stance and you might be surprised at the treatment you get in return .... even some respect may accrue in time

marni - 09 Oct 2009 12:31 - 438 of 3666

i dont care if a peasant respects me though

goldfinger - 09 Oct 2009 12:32 - 439 of 3666

Cheers mwoolgar and aldwickk re - chart.

Thats a great format for a quick post... cheers again im having a look at financial express site.

marni - 09 Oct 2009 12:33 - 440 of 3666

you are just selective in your charting........i'm bored with trying to state the facts with you............i am even more surprised you still got your job as you are on this ALL DAY ..........even in normal times people should be sacked for this but in these desperate times, anyway not doing full days work should be sacked

cynic - 09 Oct 2009 12:35 - 441 of 3666

perhaps you should, for you might learn much including much about yourself, where there is clearly an extreme paucity of knowledge and awareness ..... as it stands, you are so bound up in your arrogance and myopic self-importance, that the rest of the world is a blur to you at best

blanche - 09 Oct 2009 13:20 - 442 of 3666

No chance of me being sacked. 47 and retired early. Happy Days! None of this working til 65 crap.

cynic - 09 Oct 2009 13:25 - 443 of 3666

actually it's rather my choice as a large part of the company is mine, and generally speaking, we have a lot of profitable fun here

blanche - 09 Oct 2009 13:29 - 444 of 3666

Off to malllorca tomorrow for a week in a lovely villa, sitting in the sun. Its a hard life! Phew!!

Ps while afren makes me more money!

cynic - 09 Oct 2009 13:35 - 445 of 3666

hope you're right about the sun as am off to Barca at end of week to support my son in triathlon there

he's actually managed to raise >2,000 for an excellent charity (Admiral Nurses) which is to dementia sufferers rather what Macmillan and Marie Curie nurses are to cancer victims .... i think it's the only one of its kind, yet is virtually unknown ....
