Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Does anyone know the latest two pieces of news (on the Cybit Website) are not listed in afx or RNS?

dalrymp - 27 Nov 2003 19:32 - 430 of 3104

Cybit could have issued an RNS but obviously chose not to. Good news though and there will be bigger and better to come. I know we've had a rough ride over the last few days but I honestly think this is a brilliant company with a great future. All imho of course. Just remember why you invested in the first place.

dalrymp - 27 Nov 2003 19:36 - 431 of 3104

skids

I think it's because they probably considered it too small for an RNS but will probably included on another RNS when they win a bigger contract.

Does anyone else have any other ideas? little woman????

ckmtang - 27 Nov 2003 19:43 - 432 of 3104

i also thnk so. these seemed too small. that;s i wondering if this announce today nothing help in share(becuae price didn`t rise today)

dalrymp - 27 Nov 2003 20:29 - 433 of 3104

The change in law on the 1stDecember regarding mobile phones in cars is very good news for Cybit and should bring in lots of business. Well I'm off now, good luck everyone.

Talkpanerai - 27 Nov 2003 20:29 - 434 of 3104

This news is not going to make any difference. I think I'll sell it in another week or so.

atf130 - 27 Nov 2003 21:46 - 435 of 3104

Don't panic people, just take a look at the progress of the company, Cybit is going places! Hold mid/long term and you will see the fruits.

Sutre - 27 Nov 2003 23:31 - 436 of 3104

I think CYH is now looking oversold. For those TA's amongst us, the 14 day RSI is at its lowest level for at least 3 months. Gradient suggests we are near the bottom, providing a springboard for an even greater price rise.

Whether the Sunderland contract will be the trigger it needs, not sure. I'm holding for the medium/long term.

chrissie - 28 Nov 2003 00:19 - 437 of 3104

I think the Sunderland contract was put on the Cybit website AFTER the market closed, in which case we could see the RNS tomorrow morning. I hope that's the case because it could give us the lift we need. The contract is worth 300,000 so it's not that small.

Talkpanerai

Think carefully before you ditch these. Telematics will be big, this is just the beginning! Re the new law coming in on Dec 1st, this will give fleet managers the ideal reason to start using telematics. Employees obviously are not that keen to be kept an eye on ie no detours no fiddling of petrol or time sheets. The fleet managers will know where their cars vans and lorries are at ALL times, they now have the perfect excuse to play big brother. I think there will be a lot of advertising aimed at this over the coming weeks. In fact, I have heard that it might be featured on "working lunch" tomorrow. In a couple of weeks time we could be in a much better position than we are today. IMHO DYOR This new law could not have come at a better time for CyBIT. I think there is a lot more to come, contracts are about to come thick and fast!

sissyfuss - 28 Nov 2003 00:30 - 438 of 3104

Well....so its not another 3 mill contract.... but 300,000 with ongoing services income from 200+ vehicles...not to be sniffed at! Well done Cybit and just reinforces my faith in the basic solid direction the finances of this company are going. Soon the price will settle and more newsflow will send it in our desired direction!!! Personally I would expect this to be an RNS unless they feel it is not at a suitable level and could diminish future impact of news if they dilute the quality of their news outputs.

northrop - 28 Nov 2003 06:47 - 439 of 3104

Looking at the Bollinger Bands (Period 20, Distoance 2.0) the price touched the lower band during yesterday signalling a buy signal.

Pumacat - 28 Nov 2003 08:25 - 440 of 3104

Morning all again

Nice to see the share ticking up and hopefully with the news about sunderland the tick up will be more permanent

Pumacat - 28 Nov 2003 08:27 - 441 of 3104

Director purchase as well

Looks very good for the future!

little woman - 28 Nov 2003 08:38 - 442 of 3104

This is when I wished I'd pick some more up yesterday!

As long as a company puts out news somewhere and most choose to do it through their web sites - its fulfilled its legal obligation.

If every bit of news on every listed company went on RNS you'd never have time to read it all!

skids - 28 Nov 2003 08:41 - 443 of 3104

Very true little women. Thanks for the explanation all.

ckmtang - 28 Nov 2003 08:45 - 444 of 3104

CYH won`t make us disappointed.

ticker - 28 Nov 2003 09:08 - 445 of 3104

Glad to see it in blue again. I was as sick as a dog for the last few days just looking at the share price going further into the red.

It is a good sign that the director has supported the share.
