THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Exec,

I think Boris is amusing and sometimes funny but I think he is as morally corrupt at the present con party leader.

Both are interested in themselves and their ambitions not that of those they are supposed to be serving.

Self interest corrupts.

=========

But the con party doesn't have the courage to dump Cameron especially when he is served by apparatchiks of a similar ilk of Haze and some others.

Haystack - 24 Jun 2014 23:35 - 42833 of 81564

That poll is clearly nonsense. The Libs have been pretty constant recently.

Haystack - 24 Jun 2014 23:44 - 42834 of 81564

Interestingly, the guy that runs the Yougov polling company was saying a couple of days ago on Sky that the Libs will probably get close to their normal seats in the GE and so will the Conservatives.

MaxK - 25 Jun 2014 00:30 - 42835 of 81564

Which of course is...not enough!

It's no good Haystack, you cant polish a turd, and that's what you have leading (joke) the conservative party.

goldfinger - 25 Jun 2014 02:53 - 42836 of 81564

ha ha, No Hays you cant polish a turd and shit sinks. Listen to Max.

marseille
no just fly in there and then drive about 50 miles north to near St Remy

Haystack - 25 Jun 2014 09:09 - 42838 of 81564

Actually, you do get floaters!

While your on H/S, I asked this a while ago but think you missed it.

When do you think that Ashcroft will "publicly" swing back to your lot?

ExecLine - 25 Jun 2014 09:48 - 42841 of 81564

Haystack - 25 Jun 2014 10:14 - 42842 of 81564

Stan
Not sure what you mean.

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2014 10:16 - 42843 of 81564

Stan,

There is something wrong with my monitor.

Did you really write "when will Ashrot be publicly swung".

Would like to be there?

8-)

Stan - 25 Jun 2014 10:18 - 42844 of 81564

Well H/S, I thought he had distanced himself from your lot a year or so ago.

Fred, behave -):

Haystack - 25 Jun 2014 10:25 - 42845 of 81564

Ashcroft still supports the Conservative party. He has stopped giving money to the party, but still funds individual candidates.

Stan - 25 Jun 2014 10:31 - 42846 of 81564

Thanks, I thought it was something like that.

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2014 11:11 - 42847 of 81564

What does he hope for from those individual candidates?

Sounds socially corrupt to me.

But, after all, I suppose it is Hazy's old cons party!

ExecLine - 25 Jun 2014 11:46 - 42848 of 81564

The FCA found Wonga were cheating customers with fake legal letters. So 'no fine' but they now do need to pay £2.6m in customer compensation:

The C of E are investors, are they not? What will the Archbishop have to say about that?

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2014 13:05 - 42849 of 81564

Was Cameron standing by his friend Andy and deliberately thwarting the courts by his statements in and out of Parliament?

UMMMMMMHH.

What depths will he not sink to?

Or does Andy has interesting press releases based on his relationship with Cameron and others at No 10?

Very interesting.

What government.

The saga of Wavy Dave continues.

Who would do deals with him?

Fred1new - 25 Jun 2014 14:16 - 42850 of 81564

Wavy Dave stumbles on from one mistake to another, from one U-turn to another, from one poor judgement to another without a blush, but remains as an embarrassment, even to his own party.

Eton's own Flash Harry should go!!!!!!!

Where is the stalking horse?

Still in the stable at Stratford?

goldfinger - 25 Jun 2014 14:22 - 42851 of 81564

Spot on Fred, did you see the faces of them on the Daily Politics when it was announced the judge had thought the actions of the PM yesterday had influnced things today.

Camoron is a crook and a liar. Its as simple as that.

During PMqs he repeated 3 times incorrectly the actions of Civil Servants in the vetting processing in the C enquiry.

Hes always misleading parliament and the public and should be remembered for this when he gets kicked out of Nos 10 next year.
