Adieh,

I just reproduced what Khash posted in Ample BB. A colleague of mine confirmed the tip but because of copyright laws etc was reluctant to e-mail the article to me. However, if I come across this tip on the Net, I will post it in MoneyAM. Good luck.

Interest rate shocker now what?
By Alpesh Patel, The Information Exchange Ltd
August 07 2006
As I mentioned on CNBC last week, the shock about the interest rate rise in the UK is that the Bank of England voted unanimously to hold rates in July.
So what does it mean for the stock market? Well, now that the smoke has cleared we can take a clearer view. Firstly, the Dow gives us a big clue that the market is completely lacking direction. Last Friday, the Dow had a 104 point swing from its intraday high, only to lose all its gains for the day.
When an index cant hold onto its gains, clearly the bulls lack conviction, as do the bears. Direction is impossible. We have to wait and see. The FTSE 100 gives us more clues. It fell after the interest rate rise and hasnt rallied sharply because of the fear of more rises.
The FTSE 100 could have shot up after the rate rise on the basis that that it would be the last increase for a while. It would have been a relief rally. Not so: the cloud of more rises hangs over us and so depresses the FTSE 100.
I will turn bullish on the FTSE 100 if it moves above the recent high of 5982 and bearish if it moves below the recent low of 5827. The stocks showing the strongest short term bullish momentum are: Tanfield Group, IS Solutions, Coffeeheaven

A very nice little company this, not many followers on here at the moment though.

silvermede - 23 Aug 2006 10:21 - 441 of 2037

There were supposed to be visits by brokers to see the COH set up in Eastern Europe recently, but not heard anything, perhaps they have agreed to wait until results announced tomorrow before passing comment???

Biscuit - 23 Aug 2006 10:59 - 442 of 2037

They usually update their notes after results.

chesneywilliam - 23 Aug 2006 12:56 - 443 of 2037

Biscuit, without doubt COH is a winner, have been with them when the price was 3p.Wish I had more invested.Should I find a bit more dosh do you think its still worthwhile puting more in?

silvermede - 23 Aug 2006 12:58 - 444 of 2037

Chesney, read the results on Thursday 31 Aug 06:

Look for Profit
% Growth Forecasts
Nil Debt
Cash in Hand

I think you'll find them all favourable But DYOR.:-)

Biscuit - 23 Aug 2006 13:10 - 445 of 2037

Silvermede, You mean a week tomorrow?

silvermede - 23 Aug 2006 14:37 - 446 of 2037

Biscuit, Yep my mistake, original post corrected. Thanks

foale - 30 Aug 2006 14:41 - 447 of 2037

30p anybody....tomorrow morning ?

ramu - 30 Aug 2006 16:24 - 448 of 2037

Foale,

I hope so but doubt it. The SP has to break 27p and there are many PIs from 13p days who will be tempted to sell which will hold the price back. Also, day traders are playing with this share.

Unless there's something big to announce, there is likely to be retracement to 25p after the results. All IMHO & please DYOR. I'm long on COH. Good luck.
