Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

The spread has widened but I see that most of the trades are being completed inside the range. Any significance anyone? looks to be doing nicely this AM.

Nice to see folk highly delighted to pay 5.2 pennies. Mr May is well in profit already, long may he prosper.

After much water flowing beneath the bridge the trend definately looks as though we are heading north at long last on this one, may it continue!!!

Orson Carter - 07 May 2004 15:19 - 433 of 1086

A close over 5p mid should prompt some comment from EJ on Sunday. Tempted to top up in the next hour, as I cannot see there being a dip from current level now.

Fundamentalist - 07 May 2004 17:00 - 434 of 1086

Another blue day and a strong close with the mid above 5p. Lets hope it continues next week - still looking for confirmation of the Liverpool deal and Mays startegy.

A rumour on a competitor board claimed that the Liverpool deal had been done with Macleans a local developer but that this bid has been gazumped by a much higher bid, hence a bidding war is why we have received no confirmation. This is purely specualtion from another another BB but would be very positive news if true.

Orson - interestingly - EJ has been posting on the BB of the competitor site over the last few days.

He topped up at 4.25p, regards the current spread as criminal though says you can get inside it and sees the May contract of 2 years as a positive indicator saying that he must see "medium to long term potential".

Also, interesting to note May is up over 10% on his share options already.

Orson Carter - 07 May 2004 21:29 - 435 of 1086

Fundie - cheers, read EJ's remarks and he has posted there for quite a long time, intermittently. I am one too - a fundamentalist, that is. The de facto spread most of this pm was 4.9 - 5.1p, though it was possible to get inside even that.

Time is definitely needed to turn around PTG and May's contracted term of office is certainly a step in the right direction.

The new brush will, hopefully, sweep very clean, and leave a focussed company with all its eggs in the airports basket, without giving away the other property assets.

May is fully incentivised now.

I shall wait for upward movement in the warrants from hereonin. I topped up small-time today, but my share and warrant holdings are predicated on an exit price of 11.5p for the stock, so I might have quite a wait.

Thanks Eddie

According to a poster on another BB he has spoken to the company this am and an announcement from EUjet is coming after lunch. Share price has ticked up - lets see what the afternoon brings!!!

Fundamentalist - 12 May 2004 14:50 - 439 of 1086

Article on BBC Radio Kent has said that the EUjet announcement has now been delayed till next week!!!

skyhigh - 12 May 2004 15:28 - 440 of 1086

Surprise Surprise !
Perhaps it's delayed to enable them time to release something on the Liverpool deal ?

Socrates - 12 May 2004 17:07 - 441 of 1086

skyhigh
The announcement will be from EUjet, not from PTG.

For the sake of everyone else, it takes time for an airline to get everything together for new routes. Apart from making the aircraft available, there is crew employment and training. Logistics to be set up and contracts to be placed with service providers. It's not surprising it is taking some time but the fact that next week is quoted for the newly scheduled announcement is promising, IMHO.

optomistic - 12 May 2004 17:15 - 442 of 1086

Thanks Socs that all makes sense. Little point in making announcements only to have to adjust statements made within the next few days, that would certainly attract the wrong type of comments!!

skyhigh - 12 May 2004 17:41 - 443 of 1086

OK thanks Socs, Opts. Feel a bit better now :)

Any idea when the Liverpool deal is likely to be announced ?

optomistic - 12 May 2004 18:45 - 444 of 1086

Skyhigh. No

apple - 14 May 2004 15:45 - 445 of 1086

2.5 Million crossing trade

Followed by 400000 Buy

Looks interesting!

Socrates - 14 May 2004 17:46 - 446 of 1086

Two new announcements to look at, go look at the RNS, makes a couple of things official at last.

optomistic - 14 May 2004 20:13 - 447 of 1086

Thanks Socs
Something positive about Liverpool at last, feel this will have a good effect on the share price on Monday, pity the announcement was not made earlier in the day.
Not too good for Mr Lansbury although I could cope with 12 Months 'garden leave' on his likely salary, severance deal. Must have had a bit of a dissagrement in the office.

apple - 14 May 2004 21:42 - 448 of 1086

Yep good news!

Liverpool deal DONE!

Lansbury kicked out!

optomistic - 18 May 2004 17:07 - 449 of 1086
