55011 - 12 Aug 2005 00:01 - 430 of 520

Well timed for the Friday and weekend press. Expect a decent coverage.

stockdog - 12 Aug 2005 08:28 - 431 of 520

ethel

I was on the beach and missed all the fun. The news has wiped out my losses to all but break even and makes my portfolio look pretty perky today. Roll on the next order and the Chinese JV.

m0dulus - 13 Aug 2005 13:16 - 433 of 520

Guys

Whats the short term price for ARX and long term sp?

ethel - 13 Aug 2005 18:26 - 434 of 520

Havng bought these to sell at 7p I had been staring at the screen for a month, thinking that this really was the biggest gamble that I had made to date (consciously, that is).If news of a contract came in,I intended topping up in a big way,for me!
Of course,I caved into pressure and went off on an arduous bike ride with my son and totally missed the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!We were all playing when we should have been working!
If only this news had arrived on a monday I would have felt more confident of a nice ride straight upto 20p and would have topped up.As it was,Friday bought the sellers out even though there were some larger private buys.
I really have no idea where this will go next week. The rising price of oil is becoming ominous for any manufacturer using plastics and I would have felt more confident with a larger initial order now that trials are over.
As it is,the prospects are brilliant if ARX can satisfy the varying demands of their potential customers and expand in the refrigeration and military fields.
Interesting how 3DM (TDM) ticked up a bit on the news although I don't like their technical problems and doubled losses even though Morgan Stanley have bought in.
LOL:::ETHEL

You all miss one major point in the RNS

This is the "INITIAL" order.

I expect a pull back to 8/9p then a steady move upto 20p.

proptrade - 15 Aug 2005 09:47 - 436 of 520

agreed. i think this is an initial small order. more airlines will now follow suit now that there is acceptance of the product.

sit tight. i think these will be in the mid teens over the nexty month.

If the chart is now showing the early stages of a pennant after a break out movement north, then I would expect the next break to be north also and of a similar magnitude - so mid-teens is about right. My estimation would be 14p within 4 to 8 weeks.

Of course, another significant order or announcement of progress with the JV in China would accelerate and enhance this movement.

proptrade - 18 Aug 2005 14:21 - 438 of 520

don't take your eye off this one. 50% upside in the next few weeks. those who are familiar with my posts know that i rarely make such rampish comments

order flow started
excellent customer
future orders from American Airlines
further contract wins in the pipeline
new management
survivability questions answered.

stay long.

moneyman - 20 Aug 2005 22:49 - 439 of 520

Agree with you all this is a really massive move forward for ARX and people should take the opportunity to buy any dips.

proptrade - 22 Aug 2005 10:08 - 440 of 520

exactly. one or two more orders and acceptance of the product and these really could be a multi bag from here. i mean look where the price was only a few months ago when it was hype with no orders and no finished factory!

we like ARX.

proptrade - 25 Aug 2005 13:42 - 441 of 520

margin squeeze in announcement BUT THEY HAVE A SECOND CONFIRMED ORDER FROM VIRGIN. company now VIABLE. mid teens in a month.

AeroBox plc
25 August 2005

AeroBox plc

New Contract

Following the successful delivery of 250 containers in late 2004, AeroBox
Composite Structures, LLC has now signed a contract with Virgin Atlantic Airways
Limited for an additional 250 containers. The sale is composed of 100 units at
the standard weight of 83 kilos for immediate delivery. The remaining 150 units
weighing approximately 79 kilos are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter
of this year.

Charles Edwards, President of AeroBox Composite Structures, LLC said: 'There is
no higher recommendation than to receive a follow-on order and this is our first
repeat customer order to date. Virgin Atlantic was the initial airline that
trialed AeroBox containers in 2003 and clearly like what they see. However,
intense competition from aluminium box manufacturers means that the sales
margins on new orders are unlikely to be as satisfactory as had been previously
projected.'

of the AeroplazTM thermoplastic composite panels enables Aerobox to develop
custom made solutions for a wide range of applications in the aviation,
automotive and other industries. The unique construction of AeroplazTM provides
for improved strength and durability that can reduce costly repairs by over 90%
as well as improving reliability, utilisation and safety. The Aerobox has now
flown over 50,000 flights in commercial airlines around the globe.

Profits only marginal.........

LONDON (AFX) - AeroBox PLC said intense competition from aluminium box manufacturers means that the sales margins on new orders are unlikely to be as satisfactory as had been previously projected.

At the same time, the company announced that AeroBox Composite Structures has received a follow-on order for another 250 containers from Virgin Atlantic Airways.

100 will be delivered immediately, while the remainder are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter.

Repeat order to Virgin much more significant than squeezed margins. When Aerobox becomes standard kit there will be no more aluminium boxes to offer competition. Market share and more orders is the key thing for now.

Now it's starting to trade, it will be easier to put a value on the company. The easier it is to value something, the more certain of its value you can be. The more certain you can be of a value, the higher you are prepared to state it. QED.

Great news!

love your optimism, can't wait for the Chinese JV to be announced (some day my plintz will come - tra la la!)

moneyman - 28 Aug 2005 00:02 - 447 of 520

After Fridays news this looks a screaming buy. Why certain people on ADVFN have to deramp without factual information is however beyond me ! It is really pathetic as this company has now turned the corner and is ready to shine.

hornster - 31 Aug 2005 11:11 - 448 of 520

couldnt agree more moneyman, have given up on the arx thread on advfn. think its a case of all the kids are still off for summer!

proptrade - 31 Aug 2005 11:44 - 449 of 520

ADVFN? what do they know about ARX! facts are in...one order from American and a repeat order from Virgin. Guys...this company is now VIABLE and probably worth a hell of a lot more than the current price. One more deal or a Cinese JV and these are straight backj to the 20's.

Had the American + V irgin order not come in the downside was zero. now we have limited downside. HUGE difference, your punting cash is now a bona fide investment!
