Rumour rumour rumour! There is a rumour going round that my knickers are blue - but until the RNS you lot can't be sure!!! Lovely to see such determined Blue for SEO today. If there is a big deal in the offing then these shares could really go fast fast fast!!!! There aren't a lot of shares around at the mo - SEO have been consistently bought for the last 5 months!!

Fingers crossed and hang on tight...!

pisces - 18 May 2005 18:08 - 4301 of 27111

Would the mm`s put the shareprice up on pure speculation or is a contract win immenent. There has been an uptrend in volume since 9th of may, but todays volume although fairly high isn`t unusual for stanelco.Rumours are fine for ramping but surely a jump like todays isn`t based on heresay alone. Have just moved my trailing stop loss up to 25p with the confidence of more rises tomorrow. Win, win situation.

Rumours & Shakers

Shares Stanelco added 3.5p to 27p as specialist small company site WatsHot.com reported market talk that the radio-frequency packaging group was set to announce a significant deal with US group Wal-Mart. The company has been trialing its tray lidding systems for pre-packaged foods with the supermarket group's UK unit Asda. Updates from the company so far suggested that the trial use of Stanelco's Greenseal environmentally-friendly packaging was progressing well. baza, i seem to remember you saying the same thing when you last went away!!!
poverty , i've heard that rumour too!!! blue suits you.:) i don't like the rumour mill , but you can't help getting excited when you have a rise like today. new highs all the way, strong buying everytime there was a dip. the only news has been the correction to yesterdays business wire news in usa. it now seems very probable that the asda thing is a done deal as i imagine it was seo who told business wire to correct their statement from 100 machines to 200 machines. but surely that alone cannot have been behind todays massive volume and price hike!!!! i wont comment on the remarks saying that seo are overbought as long term holders have heard this all the way up . it's usually followed by a comment along the lines of , all the good news is in the price, and then a sell recommendation. shares have printed this it twice before deciding seo was a buy!!!

well said Bos

treikiman - 18 May 2005 20:49 - 4305 of 27111

I read this on one of the other boards, sorry not sure if it was AOL or II

'Got the news from across the pond last night its going to be Walmart announced on Monday and its going to be massive. Get in quick I got in 24.5 and when this news comes through Monday morning it will explode and my mates told me all conversions to be done in 12 months across the whole supplier network to Walmart.
My friend is over soon for training and they are taking on contractors too he told me they are advertising for 250 part timers on a years deal as its all in 12 months from signing the whole lot converted and that is talking thousands and thousands of machines.'

driver - 18 May 2005 21:08 - 4306 of 27111

Yes bos, we have heard baza say the same thing as before when he went away what does he expect us to say, sell, if you 1910 believe all you have been saying all this time then you do sod all.

Why are most of the posts today amazed at the sp rise because Im not, like I said on my earlier post that was totally missed, it does no cost the retailer any thing to take on SEOs technology it would not surprise me at all if there was a RNS on Monday to support this. May be other punters, (Investors) can see this.

Re posted.
I can see that the Wal-Mart rumor being justified although at this stage just a rumor we wasn't expecting it so soon, the reason it could be true is the unusual contract set up SEO have got them selfs into, instead of going cap in hand to the packers convincing them to take on the new technology they have gone to the retailers first. The retailers do not have to put up any money they tell the packing companies to take the new SEO'S technology and then pay the packers less. It's a win; win situation, the retailers, packers, and most of all us, brilliant.

Fred1new - 18 May 2005 21:17 - 4307 of 27111

I wonder if II has now gone long. There seems a lot of ramping to support him. Unless there are some who have balls of crystal.

Popped out for a game of golf today and missed all the afternoon fun. However, added another spreadbet to the exisiting one and more than happy to report it is already more than in profit.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the return of IIdiot, it is even easier to knock a stock after such a meteoric rise in the share value. Having said that he's been knocking the price since 18-20p, so at the moment he looks like a complete tw*t, which probably comes quite naturally.
Good look for tomorrow to all holders, I'm off to play golf again.
Regards

PTH

When the doubters and BPRG knowitalls said that RF sealing would not generate real profits etc can you all remember what I said about the packaging industry and retailers. IT IS THE RETAILERS WHO CAN SPECIFY TO THE PACKERS WHICH PACKAGING MATERIALS THEY WILL USE. SEO knew this and so does Terry Robins who used to work for Sainsburys. I've heard through contacts that it works, I know the benefits are real and I know how the packaging market and retailers work. You already know this, Asda told you. Well done folks. Hopefully 50p before September, just in time for the St Leger meeting at Donny, what do you reckon?? There's sod all else to do in Donny, unless you like rough birds!!!
Oh, and then there's Frogpack, need I say more about SEO.

andysmith - 18 May 2005 22:40 - 4312 of 27111

Just a note folks, in February I visited a new customer in Southern Europe and the sp moved from 10p to 16p. Guess where I've been this week.
If it drops, shall I go again??

EWRobson - 18 May 2005 22:53 - 4313 of 27111

Been out for a day's golf and coniviality - come back to find all hell broken loose. You lot were supposed to keep the cap on this share for me. looks like the genie is out of the bottle - see bos's chart at the top. Said last night that we had broken above the resistance level and was looking to 25p, but not 27p. 30p though was in the charts as previously reported and confirmed by Zak on basis of second 12p leg equalling the first. Could even see the 30p tomorrow, supported by the 'buy on rumour' argument.

I also commented yesterday that SEO didn't need to do an exclusive deal with Wal-Mart. However, an exclusivity deal could very well suit Wal-Mart and they could well major therefore on Greenseal. Is their any other product wich could have such a rapid effect on profitability and WITHOUT THEIR OWN INVESTMENT. They don't even need to do more trialling as ASDA and its suppliers have done that for them. There is a ring of truth in the rumour published today. Our wonderful friend has been pointing out that 1000 orders are needed to justify a 25p share price (quoting the house broker Peel Hunt); so what if they have an order schedule for several thousand. We won't even be able to stop at Donny to collect bos's pint. So our Don Q friend had it right - orders for 1000 over the next three years was a most unlikely figure: either there would be some major problem and the number would be much less or the product would be accepted as an international standard and the volumes would be more like five figures rather than four.

So hold on for the ride. I suspect things will unfold over the next few days and then we will be able to compute a more realistic value. Until then it is 'buy on rumour' time and the rumour buyers aren't going to sell until the news is known!

hi
a great for seo. I know the rise is based on some rumours. But surely, something big must be going on as it doesn't explain why 20 millions shares were traded today (most of them buys)!!!!! any thoughts

How many more thoughts do you want seb.

hewittalan6 - 19 May 2005 06:48 - 4317 of 27111

seb,
perhaps its SEO's new and improved mousetrap technology LOL!! The mouse is caught in a Frogpack lining so it isn't hurt and then Rf sealed for dispatch to its natural habitat. Environmentally friendly and the mouse stays fresh for twice as long while being shipped to it's new home. After all the financial world is beating a path to SEO's doorstep!!!

Your far too witty for the AOL bb, Tony might think it's sarcasm, LOL.
