Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Plenty of Israelis call Hamas freedom fighters. It means very little. The Palestinians have to fight or they get nothing from Israel. There needs to be a third intifada.

Google searches for ‘Leon Brittan’ and ‘PIE’ censored after Cease and Desist notice

Official efforts to cover up a VIP paedophile ring at the heart of the UK political establishment shamelessly goes on unabated.
If you Google (on google.co.uk) the terms ‘Leon Brittan’ and ‘PIE’ (Paedophile Information Exchange) you’ll find this message from Google (at the bottom of the first page of results):
google-brittan1
According to ChillingEffects.org the censoring is because an official Cease and Desist order was sent to Google who had a legal obligation to remove some of the results.
This comes after former Tory Home Secretary Leon Brittan admitted today that he lied last year to a Channel 4 journalist about a detailed dossier on a VIP paedophile ring he was handed in the 1980s which was then promptly lost.
Cock-up, cover up or conspiracy? You decide:

Cameron unharmed by Juncker defeat

65% of British people say the appointment of Jean-Claude Juncker as EU president was out of David Cameron’s hands – and most people think he was right to vote against him, even if it was unsuccessful

Manuel,
We are resting on the Dordogne near Domme, Sarlat and Cenac, La Roque Gageac.
A very beautiful area of a country which has a lot of beauty.
For me, it is one of the most beautiful and interesting, if you don't know the area well worth a visit.
It is worthwhile if you visit that area on Bastille Day, 14 July and visit Domme, a bastide town on top of a hillside.
During the evening they have a Bonfire etc. choir, dance in the square and fire works and BBQ, in the small park on top the town.
From the park you can look down on the Dordogne and over the other hillsides and villages who compete with their firework shows.
Beautiful little postcard town.
In the square there is a hotel and restaurant which is supposed to be one of the best in the region.
I met the chef at a small village party, where there was a strong smell of hash.
Rarely, eat out since the 70s and 80s, preferred our own food, or that of friends and having the crate with built in Cooker, BBQ and microwaves etc.. and wine cellar have no real need to, while in France.
Generally, disappointed in "eating out", also I am a tight fisted B.
I often tell the French that they don't deserve their country, and if I wasn't a Welshman I would envy them!

Don’t tell MI5 – but Russians are bankrolling the Tory Party

TagsBoris Johnson, international, open government, Tories
(not satire – it’s the Tories!)
A governing UK political party being bankrolled by Russian oligarchs isn’t something the British electorate – or MI5 – would be all that keen on I’d imagine.
So I’m not surprised the Tories have been trying desperately to hide the identities of the people who attended their fundraising dinner last year.
That’s because – after Brits – Russians were the most representative nationality at the fundraising event.
According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the list of ultra-rich Russians and eastern Europeans who attended the party fundraiser included:
Alexander Temerko (Russia)
Tatanya Korsakova (Russia)
Andrei Borodin (Russia)
Vasily Shestakov (Russia)
Alexander Kuznetsov (Russia)
Alex Nekrassov (Russia)
Andrei Kliamko (Belarus)
Darko Horvat (Slovenia)
Obviously, it’s always possible that all those dodgy Russians and their mates who are handing over their millions to one of our governing parties won’t be expecting anything in return for their beneficence.
Fingers crossed.
.
Actually, the Tories have already gifted their Russian benefactors with the possibility of buying their way into the country:
From Russia with £1million: The UK’s Investor Visas
And London Mayor Boris Johnson has also been busy making dodgy Russian friends of his own:
Here’s a Russian spy with his ‘good friend’ Boris Johnson
Добро пожаловать в Великобританию!

Well somebody needs to bankroll them now that the Olmfirth Conservative Club (of which you once claimed to be their Life President, as I recall) have withdrawn their £100k annual donation (which, strangely enough, never appeared on any records in the public domain).

So, if I paste up the full list of party donors as reported to the Electoral Commission and published to their
online database, you'll be able to tell me which donation(s) you're responsible for??? Because, at the moment, I can't see any donations whatsoever by anyone called Fishfinger.

fred - yes I know Domme and Sarlat and round that area from one of our cycling jollies .... there's some really interesting places to visit as well .... if I remember correctly Cromagnon is nearby too, and you'll be sorry to hear that a car wheel trim came careering across the road at 100 mph and only just missed me and the bike :-)
