Forex rebates on every trade - win or lose!

I am presently working on my FX spreadsheet a la Hilary and running a demo account, trying to backtest, trouble is I'm a bit limited in my spreadsheet abilities. Will keep you all posted. Had demo a run with cable, having been down 600$ on Friday afternoon I closed it flat - not real money but it felt like it.

I think that you guys should be selling the Dollar like it were going out of fashion right now. But wdik.

Was long cable for a day prior to last Monday's high.

Closed 9 shorts since then for 700 odd thingies - still running 2 from 1.8160 and 1.8110.



Stops are in place if it breaks up out of here. 1.8020 should be key by tomorrow, if not before :S

Edit: oops just noticed on the account - it was the glorious 12th, not last Monday.

Niiiiice trading. Not been doing much myself for a while - a bit of scalping here and there. Managed a paltry 25 yesterday and another 20 so far today. Milky Bar stuff compared with you and the mighty Hils.

EDIT - forgot to mention that the points were from shorts and now I'm long and losing - talk about clash of the Gurus - I don't know which one to gush over ;)

I've been following GURUMankyShins and scalping longs - managed another 20 - a bit like chipping away at an iceberg. And before you ask - that's an iceberg iceberg not a lettuce.

I'm not a scalper and that wasn't the reason behind my post last night suggesting Dollar shorts. You should really be buying the Euro and the Swiss atm in preference to Sterling, imo, but that might change.

The 20 and 30 pips here and there don't interest me. I'm in it to pyramid for the 100's and 1000's over the course of days or weeks.

Closed 2 shorts at lunch time for 64 points and missed the touch off 1.8020 on my way home. Got it later at 1.8018. Cable's still all in my down slopey thingie - just have to see how it looks tomorrow.

PS Dunno about smoke, but I think it helps if you're bald.

Looks like an overnight short would have given a good return. Your down slopey thingy seems to be prevailing over the up slopey thingy which Hils is anticipating.

Only one more day at this before a couple of weeks away so I might try some more scalping today - s'pose that might contribute towards my ambition for Nirvana ;)
