Brokers Hargreave Hale gave the following Valuation for HMY
VALUATION
The nearest comparisons to this Group are Sondex, trading on a current year multiple of 14 and Weir Group which typically trades on multiples of 12 plus. We would argue that Hamworthys prospects are brighter than both these companies in view of the strong order book and the global positioning. Fully taxed earnings of 13p this year and 16.5 p for the 2005/6 end March, suggests a current year PE of 9.9x and a prospective PE of 7.8x. There is a prospective yield in excess of 4%. If trading on a similar PER to Sondex the shares would be valued at in excess of 180p. We would argue that a premium to Sondex is justifiable, in particular because of the potential ramp up to sales as a result of the new product pipeline now gaining client acceptance in what is in any event one of the fastest growing markets in the world.
"Shares" Article relating to Hamworthy (HMY) posted below for info.
With a following wind these shares should double over the next year or so.
Some catty folk in the City say the flotation last month by Collins Stewart
could have been handled better, i.e. at a higher price. It was certainly over
subscribed but the rating is half that of similar oil sector service companies
including Sondex.

Hey Mickey, does you broker do Ofex shares?, Ive found one thta a real corker and certain it should be a multi bagger. Vicorp its called and is in the Voip market. As some fantastic clients. If you have a chance have a look at the ofex site, its going to be real big and the company as a real solid balance sheet.

Greetings all,
Just counting my blessings for the day that I bought into HMY. A regular little money machine - and still a long way to go. Happy days are here again - or should that be Hamworthy days are here again?

Although not a huge investment, this was also the day that I bought in!
Have been snooping since beginning of year but decided that this was the time - the Shell/Qatar deal finally convinced me that LNG and in particular this company has potentail both now and long term.
Shame I didn't get in earlier but have very good feelings going forward. More contracts for HMY please!
Cheers,
Stuart

Low volume today and look at the gains.

LNG and Qatar was part of the 10pm news last night on BBC1. The UK will take a 5th of its gas from Qatar in the winter of 2007/8.
Hows that for awareness of LNG. Hamworthy can only benefit from this news article.

Qatar and Shell in $6bn gas deal
Qatar is trying to cement its position as a major player in gas
Shell has signed a $6bn (3.12bn) deal with the Middle Eastern sheikhdom of Qatar to supply liquid natural gas (LNG) to North America and Europe.
The UK-Dutch group will own 30% of the project, with Qatar's state oil firm owning the rest.
The agreement is the latest in a string of deals reached by Qatar, which is trying to make itself a regional leader in natural gas.
US oil giant ExxonMobil signed up for a $12.8bn deal earlier on Sunday.
France's Total is expected to join the ExxonMobil scheme, dubbed Qatargas-2, on Monday, taking 5 million tonnes of LNG a year.
ExxonMobil will be taking some 15 million tonnes each year for 25 years from the end of 2007 under the deal.
Shell's agreement, under the name Qatargas-4, foresees the building of new facilities to handle 1.4 billion cubic feet of gas, and 7.8 million tonnes of LNG each year from 2011 onwards.
cheers GF.

The future for this looks just great. With all the new investment that is going to be made in the industry HMY are in a prime position. Any predictions for 12 months? I see 3+ easy. Oooo am I ramping...no just being positive.
