Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Hays question......
Who or What is the United and Cecil club ??????????????????????????
R U a member of the Club or group?
who finances it?
how is the pot disposed of?
what are the intentions of the club?
how is the club listed?
is the tory party "open and honest" and not attempting to corrupt the intentions of the "democratic" system?

The United and Cecil club operates under the same rules working men's clubs and similar that give political donations.

There is nothing complicated about it. There are lunch clubs and dinner clubs. I was invited to join one a few years ago that meets at the Commons one lunch a month and people discuss politics and network for business. The donations are limited to around £7,500 and the donor has to be on the electoral roll. Labour has similar arrangements although there are fewer business people willing to donate to them. Their peak was in the days when Lord Sainsbury gave millions to Labour.

Hays,
From a stable in the home counties own by wealthy tories who didn't get a plate at the recent "dinner".
Is it used for filtering money and donation to certain party constituency?
Are the members buying favours, future or present from the tory leadership?
What are the sizes of the donation?
Is Iver the right village to give donations to?
Nice to have money for fags.

as ukip will only win perhaps 5 seats at most, and the tories are the only ones at least offering a referendum, the others not being remotely interested, how do you then intend to vote?

None of the polls are showing improved support for UKIP. It is a protest vote and most will revert to tribal loyalties.
