THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

WHO WERE the relevant home office officials???????????????????

Haystack - 07 Jul 2014 11:02 - 43272 of 81564

The United and Cecil club operates under the same rules working men's clubs and similar that give political donations.

goldfinger - 07 Jul 2014 11:20 - 43273 of 81564

Come on Hays you know more than that or are YOU COVERING UP????.

Haystack - 07 Jul 2014 11:27 - 43274 of 81564

There is nothing complicated about it. There are lunch clubs and dinner clubs. I was invited to join one a few years ago that meets at the Commons one lunch a month and people discuss politics and network for business. The donations are limited to around £7,500 and the donor has to be on the electoral roll. Labour has similar arrangements although there are fewer business people willing to donate to them. Their peak was in the days when Lord Sainsbury gave millions to Labour.

gold . for the first time in my life I was asked who I was going to vote for .
nd answered their question UKIP ASKED WHO I VOTE FOR LAST TIME TORY
ASKED WHY I WAS NOT VOTING CONSERVATIVE AT THE NEXT ELECTION ANSWERED BECAUSE THEY ARE A PARTY OF LIARS .

goldfinger - 07 Jul 2014 11:35 - 43276 of 81564

Are you sure or are you playing silly devils here??.

Donations limited to £7,500.............................................'you cant be serious'.

goldfinger - 07 Jul 2014 11:38 - 43277 of 81564

TANKER i voted for UKIP at the local and EC elections but it was a tactical vote against the Bullingdon boys.

I will be voting labour at the GE..... JUST to get rid of this present creepy arrogant lying lot.

TANKER - 07 Jul 2014 11:40 - 43278 of 81564

they also asked why was I voting UKIP answer the same as ever one I talk to we
want out of the EU and want migrants out of our country .
the march of the fade up tax payers have had enough of the scum coming to the uk .

she said that is what most are saying mori poll

Fred1new - 07 Jul 2014 11:44 - 43279 of 81564

Hays,

From a stable in the home counties own by wealthy tories who didn't get a plate at the recent "dinner".

Is it used for filtering money and donation to certain party constituency?

Are the members buying favours, future or present from the tory leadership?

What are the sizes of the donation?

Is Iver the right village to give donations to?

Nice to have money for fags.

cynic - 07 Jul 2014 11:44 - 43280 of 81564

as ukip will only win perhaps 5 seats at most, and the tories are the only ones at least offering a referendum, the others not being remotely interested, how do you then intend to vote?

Haystack - 07 Jul 2014 11:45 - 43281 of 81564

None of the polls are showing improved support for UKIP. It is a protest vote and most will revert to tribal loyalties.

cynic - 07 Jul 2014 11:58 - 43287 of 81564

goldfinger - 07 Jul 2014 12:00 - 43288 of 81564
