Team: UEFA.com users' Team of 2010
A team including Iker Casillas, Maicon, Gerard Piqu Carles Puyol, Ashley Cole, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xavi Herndez, Wesley Sneijder, Andr Iniesta, Lionel Messi and David Villa, coached by JosMourinho with more than 400,000 fans is worth noting.
More than 5 million votes in all a record were cast in UEFA.com's annual poll, and few could quibble with the Spain and FC Barcelona-heavy selection.

I'm sorry Chelsea back in form MY ARSE! Only one team played football on that park today and they were wearing blue. Everton blew it in my opinion because Moyes has lost the plot, okay Saha did the job and got the breakthrough, great, now take him off and put Beckford on straight away. No chance give him the last ten minutes and what happened produced the save of the match. Sooo frustrating for Everton fans playing good football with no end product, got to give Beckford more time on the pitch, Saha is class but we probably won't see him next week due to another innocuos injury tying his boot laces. To sell Piernarr to Spurs, arguably the engine of the Everton team, scandulous especially because he will probably sit on the bench for Spurs for the next five years. Goodison half empty today I wonder why?

RF, If you want to start making money and not losing it have a look at Burnley's odds on going up
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/promotion
Local knowledge suggests that 7/1 is well worth a serious dabble.

Torres - Rat deserting a sinking ship? One consolation for LFC at least they will be able to rebuild in the Summer. Also if they can get Anelka will boost confidence.

30m for Andy Carroll, worlds gone mad. Don't know who is more insane Liverpool making the bid, or Newcastle rejecting it!

50 million....incredible......you could almost build a 30000 seater stadium for that price...the best buy is probably Suarez from Ajax......

wouldn't disagree with you Stan - other than to say that
a) no cfc fan is paying towards that (no more than any other football spectator), and
b) if Roman has it, better spent than taken to the grave
the football world went mad years ago, and until a few clubs go bust I personally can't see it changing
and I wonder if the scousers will now get accused of buying success !!

What with 50m for Torres and 35m for Carroll, there was a lot of speculation that Fergie was going to cash in and sell Howard Webb for a similar figure before the transfer window closed.

Not a bad result against a poor Danish side...still that poor circulation of the ball from the back......not much creativity still in midfield where with better players the Danes would just have run through a static England defense....up front...not bad movement in the second half climaxed with a typical football league goal which would have been saved had it been a competitive game....but there were some good things in that game......still think that we are lacking big creativity in midfield and the usual thing with our defenders not having a clue as what to do with the ball in defense when they get it..(except after the second goal) when there were big improvements.....
