mg - 24 Aug 2005 11:31 - 4346 of 11056

Took the bounce back to give me 30 points - which I'm happy with

Bobcolby - 24 Aug 2005 11:36 - 4347 of 11056

Morning all. Glad to see thread is alive and well. Have not done FX for a few months as social scene has overtaken trading. Mainly position trading on CFDs at mom, (Which is like watching paint dry!). Will probably try trading FX again in September after I relearn/learn my strategies.

MG I did get that Medion navigator from Aldi and I think its great

mg - 24 Aug 2005 11:46 - 4348 of 11056

Hiya Bob
I've been absent without leave as well - needed my Satnav to find my way back.

Off vacationing from Friday and boring old dayjob tomorrow so trying to scalp a few this week - and doing Ok - so far. Little and often rather than megaGURUs MankyShins and Chuckchoclulu. Wimmin huh - and they try and tell us (to our faces, at least) that size doesn't matter ;)

Must get a game of Golf in before it gets too wet, cold and nasty - I'm back in circulation form around the 15th if you fancy coming up here - but I've got no probs in travelling South. Let's arrange off thread - if you're up for it.

It only broke out a tidge ten four - seems to be happily settled again ;)

Ruthie, could you please remind me what else I might have promised Sputtie?

mg - 24 Aug 2005 16:50 - 4360 of 11056

Chocochuklepops
Nice entries (as the actress said to the Bishop). My afternoon has been a little more stressful.

After getting caught short from 7941 (stopped out for -50) I added shorts @ 7950, 7980 and 8015 - and although I did the unmentionable (shifted all my stops to 8050 - which was potentially -205 additional losing pips - GULP) - I managed to get back out again with a net gain (after allowing for the stopped out position) of net +4.

So, all in all I ended up with a pretty positive +38 day.

mg - at least 2 stone lighter from the perspiration effect of keeping my nerve ;(
