Blimey mateys, wasup, where's everybody; making money from a rising market both here and in the star spangled land.

Well, I just don't give a damn Scarlet, I'm going to relax with a firkin of Marstons Pedigree and halkf a dozen bags of pork scratchings and then, 'cos its so warm, I'm going to kip tonight on the cafe porch [or is it a ferrari?]. ThatI can have a pair of fresh, Friday delivered kippers from the smokery down in Dingle Dell.

little willie - 19 Feb 2004 17:35 - 4349 of 23498

Evening Socs, you just back from the mill? How was it today?

Socrates - 19 Feb 2004 17:56 - 4350 of 23498

little willie
The Mill, bit of a grind today. I'll pop out later and get you some proper Whitby smoked kippers. The real kit and caboodle they are.

It was a bit quiet in here was it not, needs me to retire so that I can take up permanent residence in the easy chair and keep people on their toes.

And now, a nice hot pot of tea coming up.

stockbunny - 20 Feb 2004 15:12 - 4351 of 23498

We nearly fell off the page today people!! Had to go trawling down
almost to the bottom of the list to find us - we must collectively be making
some money if there's no time for a cuppa or we've all turned
work-a-holic and just have our noses permanently to the grindstone...
NO Can't quite imagine that one.....(giggle)

I'll re-boil the kettle than and see if anyone's about....

stockbunny - 20 Feb 2004 16:58 - 4352 of 23498

Good Lord it's still deserted in here and its tea-time!!!
GD you need to revamp the menu dear, cos it's driving them away!!

Oh well I'm off now - food to cook for my "baby bunnies"
(big joke...eldest one due in from work in about an hour...
and both several inches taller than their "mini-mum"!!)
But guess your 'little bunnies' are always your
little bunnies no matter how big or old they get!!!

jeffmack - 20 Feb 2004 16:59 - 4353 of 23498

Afternoon Bunny. I was beginning to think that 4350 might be unlucky. Mind how you go for the rest of the day.

Socrates - 20 Feb 2004 17:09 - 4354 of 23498

Socksbunny
You should know that at least one person will call in after teatime and here I am. I'll make the tea, you find the biscuits.

Breaking News

An earthquake measuring 0.00000001 on the Richter Scale hit 'pool of urine at 11:11am. The epicentre was the centre circle at Anfailed. Despite its force being only that of Garry giving an Ex pool player what he deserved it caused major damage.

Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly muttering " I dinnae know what hit me", " I cannae find my 'pool top" and where's my fags?". The earthquake destroyed the ramshackle stadium and surrounding shanty town causing approximately 2-50 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of Blackpool souveneers were damaged beyond repair and three areas of burnt out cars were disturbed causing distress to the prostitutes and junkies in them. Many locals were woken well before their Giros arrived. The photographer for the local newspaper ' Pool in Pictures' found hundreds of residents confused and bewildered by the fact that something interesting had happened in Anfailed and the editor was so shocked that he put some words in the paper, so confusing the residents further.

One resident, 15 year old mother of 5, Sharon 'Easy' Ryder said 'It was terrible, it took a whole packet of fags and a whole bottle of vodka to calm me down'. Ther locals said that business had recovered quickly, with looting and mugging at normal levels and car crime benefiting from the debris on the roads slowing the traffic up. The Red Cross have managed to ship in essential supplies to replace some of the bottles broken in the various bars and Sunney Delight for the children. Locals are still sifting through the rubble for their personal belongings such as Elizabeth Duke jewellery from Argos and bone china from Poundstretcher.

CAN YOU HELP?

Can you suport the appeal to raise money for food and clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in the disaster. Clothing is sought after and items most needed include basebasll caps, nylon shell suits, counterfeit 'pool tops, white sports socks, grey stretch leggings and anything sold in the More Stores. Large hooped 'gold' earings would also be greatly appreciated.

Food required consists of Pot Noodles, frozen chips (oven or microwave; not ones you have to fry), bottles of cheap cider and special brew.

Donations of money would be greatly received, 11p buys a cheap ball point for anyone capable of filling in their own compensation form, 3-99 buys chips and fizzy blue drinks for a family of 10 and 5 will buy a packet of Superkings.

Please do not sent tents as the sight of posh housing may upset the neighbouring estates.

Socrates - 20 Feb 2004 22:38 - 4361 of 23498

What a jolly day today. I must have missed everybody, sorry, just fell asleep in the easy chair.

Jeffmack
Don't tell me you are going to buy one of those holidays flying from Manston. It could give me a heart attack, I would be laughing so hard!

snoball - 21 Feb 2004 01:06 - 4362 of 23498

This_is_me, is that why the Dow fell today?

Socrates - 21 Feb 2004 08:37 - 4363 of 23498

Did the Dow fall or was it pushed? Am I about to make a killing on my MMO2 shares? Will Christopher Robin go down to the palace with Alice? Time for tea I think.

little willie - 21 Feb 2004 09:57 - 4364 of 23498

Morning all, I'll have a half of what TIMs been drinking.
So its 'Scally-bashing' time eh?
It'll give 8 ball and the rest of the 'Sheep-lovers' a break,
ah well, its like Gerry sang, 'You'll never walk alone' and, "Can I look after your car Mister?"; "Give us a job".

Socs....Mad Hatters time, hereabouts methinks....
