wHAT HAPPENED?????

I only managed to catch up with one thread and it goes berserk! Well i've caught up again now, so belatedly:

chocolat,
"closed 9 for 700", if I may say, beautifully orchestrated..:-), to give perspective, I think it is a good result if I close 700 for 9 thingies...

mg
some sweet moves, but as a prospective Buddha, don't you eschew such materialistic passtimes..:)

As this thread has now become inundated with refugee gurus from various reaches of the moribund FTSE etc, to join those already present, I now intend to sit and observe in awed wonder as you work your magic!!

Maggot - 25 Aug 2005 09:13 - 4370 of 11056

Not been doing very well recently. Stops hit this morning on Cable long and USD/CHF short for -53. And as I type this they have both turned. Pass the hemlock someone!

edit. No they haven't.

edit. Oh yes, they have!

Seymour Clearly - 26 Aug 2005 00:33 - 4371 of 11056

EUR/GBP starting to turn up. You still short Sputnick?

Maggot :-((

STORMCALLER - 26 Aug 2005 00:42 - 4372 of 11056

Maggot,
Just shows how perverse cable can be, took out my short just before your long...lol

oops, busted my personal trendline on cable long for -14, so now short @ 001

Sputnik - 26 Aug 2005 08:30 - 4373 of 11056

Seymour - still short, with only just trying FX, postion sizes are small untill I get used to the intraday volatility.

Seymour Clearly - 26 Aug 2005 09:08 - 4374 of 11056

Same here!!

Sputnik - 26 Aug 2005 09:55 - 4375 of 11056

added to EUR/GBP short @ 6817

STORMCALLER - 26 Aug 2005 10:45 - 4376 of 11056

Seems my cable personal trendline was a little more sticky than I gave it credit for, therefore out for 0....still that improves my average....lol

STORMCALLER - 26 Aug 2005 21:23 - 4377 of 11056

Finally pensioned off my trendline tonight, with that out of the way, nicked 18 point short on cable, nice way to end the week at least.
Enjoy the weekend people!

chocolat - 28 Aug 2005 13:05 - 4378 of 11056

Keep it up Stormie :)

MightyMicro - 28 Aug 2005 14:37 - 4380 of 11056

Forex - Dollar mixed as Katrina's damage report awaited - UPDATE 1

Didn't intend to trade today, but it worked out nicely.

chocolat - 29 Aug 2005 17:21 - 4382 of 11056

This is what I was looking at this morning.
Short cable at 1.8080

ScreenShot235.jpg

and waited forever for 1.8020 to go. But it has :))

Time to redraw the down slopey thingies.

Edit: interestingly it bounced straight off the old resistance trendline.

STORMCALLER - 30 Aug 2005 01:31 - 4383 of 11056

chocolat,
Thank you for the chart, wish I had spotted that condition, instead spent the day grinding out 2 X 10 points (1 short & 1 long) to recover from my lack of observation.
End result, +4 on the day, should have been much more..:-(

Seymour Clearly - 30 Aug 2005 09:28 - 4384 of 11056

Stopped out of my EUR/GBP long -13 whilst away camping on Friday after I raised my stop - would now be back in profit :-(
