Forex rebates on every trade - win or lose!

Some hot price action this morning. Added to my position at 1.8980, stop moved up to 1.8940. Already pierced 1.9000 and pulled back. Let's see if the 10 o'clock movement takes us up again.

i was busy trading the ftse (badly) so didn't get the ride,
wish i'd followed my own advice of course.....

And guess who's the muppet who longed it at 7am but came out too early because she thought it had gone up too steeply and thought that she'd get back in lower on the pullback. Doh. The writing was on the wall.

Stop raised to 1.9010. Keeping a tight stop as I'm not going to be able to keep an eye on this the rest of the week so looking to take quick profit today.

Any idea what Trichet said yesterday?

been watching the 7.00 am effect as well - quite strong just recently,
means getting up a bit earlier, catching worms et al,

now if i was long, i'd be moving up my stop, cos it's possible 190 may not hold,

ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet did himself no favours, when he showed an apparent lack of concern over the euro's strength at the European Parliament economic and monetary affairs committee yesterday.

Sometimes it works to your advantage that CMC dampen out the fast spikes in the prices. Should have been stopped out several times in the past 10 minutes but still in the trade.

Yep. Stopped out finally at 1.9048. Calling it a day. Got to get a train to Telford now :-(

Thanks. It's fine at the moment, but it is an ongoing problem with one particular view which still needs to be resolved.

Well done on the exchange timing ..... I can see the Cable heading higher in the short term. I'm sure it'll come back eventually, but the only Greenback buyers for now appear to be the BoJ and if European interest rates go up and US interest rates don't, then, imo, we're talking a fair bit more than $2 to the GBP.

had a long last night @190.20, watched it up to 190.57, went ot bed with stop in at 190.30, which the bandits at cmc managed to hit. what a surprise.

I can't contemplate a fresh long at this level. Imo, you've got to see a pullback on some profit taking to wind those oscillators back a bit and create some fresh buy signals. Hand sitting for me till then, because I'm not going to short it either.
