Saturday afternoon, why not have a look at the site and see what it's about.
22 of us in from am, could easily be a lot more.
Do you know if my name was Tony I feel sure I would be able to persuade many more to join.

i agree - it is amazing that only 22 have joined up - i know a lot of those in the traders room are already doing it with other teams but surely we should be able to get a few hundred from the amount that access

Fundy, thanks for your comment. I really do think that we could do a lot better on here in the investors room. Only last week when I had my friend, a computer expert came to sort out a problem. When 'looking around' found the UD site and asked what it was. When I explained what it was he became quietly very interested and took the site details and hopefully he will log on to help the research. His PC is on line 24/7 don't like this phrase but in his case it is most appropriate.

That could explain why I was stuck on 84% for ages, moving nicely now.
Have we gained any team more members recently?

From the Grid.org forum 5Aug05:
Dear members,
Thanks for being so patient. Below is a current update on grid.org:
A new LigandFit Pancreatic Cancer job is still pending new data from our European partner. In the meantime, the grid.org team will be performing some LigandFit post-processing script improvements on our LigandFit grid infrastructure in order to prepare for the new Cancer project data soon to arrive from our European partner. As a result, the old LigandFit Cancer job that is currently running will be suspended briefly in order for our team to make the necessary preparations offline.
The Rosetta Human Proteome Folding batches of jobs on grid.org continue to run well, and results are being post-processed nicely. Thanks for contributing your compute time.
Kindest Regards,
grid.org team

Processing of LigandFit Cancer job started again last night just after you posted. One machine started by itself, two more had to be persuaded by restarting UD twice. The forum goes onto say the the team stats table has been corrupted and is being rebuilt. Individual data has not been lost. I also gather that if you delete the duplicate devices, created after re-logging on after the last problem, the associated history will also be deleted. This will not affect the actual processed results.
