Braemore Resources Uses Cutting Edge Technology (BRR)

Toya - 20 Dec 2007 20:07 - 440 of 810

The new shares will start trading on 28Dec - day of the AGM.

Not sure I should dare show up there, following Harrycat's remarks in 399 above! lol

So will be pleased for anyone's comments on the meeting...

robertalexander - 20 Dec 2007 20:15 - 441 of 810

anyone think a share consolidation might be a good thing post Atomaers 303m shares joining the affray?
I hold a small amount and will increase just trying to get my timing right.
Alex

HARRYCAT - 21 Dec 2007 09:41 - 442 of 810

Don't let me put you off Toya! Perhaps if you were to take cynic with you, things would pick up. He seems to have the 'Midas Touch'. (Of course I mean pick up in the financial sense rather than ..............I'll get my coat).

mitzy - 21 Dec 2007 11:02 - 443 of 810

added a few.

cynic - 21 Dec 2007 16:46 - 444 of 810

Harry - believe me i can pick stinkers as well as the best of you! ...... i managed to buy RIO at the top and despite the recovery of the last few days, am still nursing a thumping paper loss ..... actually, i remain confident (pure bravado!) that a bid will come through in due course, at which point that stock will smile once more, though no doubt another few will then smell like week-old fish!

mitzy - 21 Dec 2007 17:12 - 445 of 810

I sold out Thursday and bought back first thing.. saved one penny..!

oilyrag - 21 Dec 2007 18:04 - 446 of 810

So until it gets to 23p, your still in negative equity. Given time shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

cynic - 21 Dec 2007 18:33 - 447 of 810

no; in time you'll be dead and then no probs for you at all!

are none other than Toya going to AGM?
can one trust a woman to give a resume of proceedings rather than on the dress sense or otherwise of the board and attendees? .... lol

Toya - 21 Dec 2007 18:38 - 448 of 810

Hi guys, I'm just catching up with things here, having been out all day and seeing that BRR is recovering.

I'm so pleased that I do have Harrycat's permission to attend the AGM after all! But, as Cynic says, you can't trust a woman... so you'd better all turn up yourselves if you want to hear what went on!

mitzy - 21 Dec 2007 18:56 - 449 of 810

Hey I am a big fan of Brr hope the Agm goes well let me know how it gets on ..also a big fan of Rift oil any holders here..?

Toya - 21 Dec 2007 18:59 - 450 of 810

Mitzy: I think I'll let one of the chaps take responsibility for that - they are so much better at these things! lol

ptholden - 21 Dec 2007 19:12 - 451 of 810

Naturally, say no more :)

mitzy - 21 Dec 2007 19:55 - 452 of 810

lol..

robertalexander - 21 Dec 2007 20:13 - 453 of 810

Alex

Toya - 21 Dec 2007 20:45 - 454 of 810

There you are Mitzy: Alex can brief you! And it looks like pth is happy to volunteer also. They'll all be falling over themselves, which means I can just sit back and enjoy the meeting and not think about taking copious notes - what a relief! Perhaps we should run a competition for who can write the best report?

HARRYCAT - 21 Dec 2007 23:26 - 455 of 810

So what's the prize then? A night out with..............??? Scary thought.

Toya - 22 Dec 2007 10:01 - 456 of 810

Well, you and others may dream Harrycat. But as always, these competitions are a 'fix' in any case...

robertalexander - 22 Dec 2007 15:01 - 457 of 810

can't make AGM didn't get my application in for permission to 'play-out' quick enough[ yes married with kids]. :(

cynic - 22 Dec 2007 16:27 - 458 of 810

prize for the runner-up could be treating this wizened and acidic old tart to a decent bottle of claret

Toya - 23 Dec 2007 14:00 - 459 of 810

Alex: don't worry, the kids will grow up one of these days, and then you'll be free to wander off as you please.
