How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Nice little profit on the U21 Ger v Eng. Backed the draw, greened up after England equalised.

I was on the Fed match last night. Massive volumes and I got quite nervous waiting for my orders to get filled. At some moments volumes were over 150K per tick and I had no idea where I was in the queue!
Just pleased as a Fed win was what I was looking for.
Looking at the footy tonight, Italy looks good value. They slipped up against the Scots and with Norway breathing down their necks and fav to beat Scotland can't afford to slip up again

Volumes were massive on the Tennis, I don't know if you noticed Bakko but there was somebody throwing around quite a few k a time quite regulary. The volume bars on Bet Angel show those sorts of orders up a treat. It's interesting to watch that activity. I sensed the market was nervous as it was flip flopping quite a bit at the start of each game.
When Federer was almost broken in the third set his price shot right out to 1.30 and I think itchy fingers were at play. From 1.03 at the start of the second set to 1.30 without that critical break was way too much IMHO. I was pretty nervous at that point but backed him in from saving those break points.

Cantor spreadfair have messed up the Azerbaijan v Austria game. Currently the odds and prices are inverted for some reason. Azer are the red hot favourites. You may want to take up some of that. Don't know if they will void or dispute it as it is supposed to be an exchange but definately wrong for sure.

Scrip, You were brave to back Fed at 2 break pts down. Good call!
Re, the massive volumes, there was a guy a couple of weeks back on the forum bragging about his ability to make loads of dosh on a regular basis by backing Fed at low odds with 40K. Looks like he was around. I'm sure the colour of his underwear changed a few times last night!

ignore earlier message - all sorted now - will try and get in touch re betangel later in the week or early next.
Anyone trading the football today? Norway, Sweden, Spain and Italy all appeal to me as back to lay bets. 2.24 about France in Ireland looks way overpriced to me too
Currently watching the Austria game - they have made 7 changes to the team that lost to Poland, arent playing well yet their odds have shortened since kick off.

Hi, Sorry been running around all afternoon and only just picked up the message. Glad you are sorted. I haven't used it for ages.
Just going to have a look at the football.

Ok, Best bet for me, Lay england!
If you can get 1.21 after five minutes the price should have drifted to 1.22, 1.23 after 8 minutes or so.
The draw will crossover the England win around 65-70 mins. If a draw the price on NI will come in slightly till 55 mins then fall away in a steady fashion.

Just got in to find Italy 3-1 up at half time so greened up but unfortunately for me, Scotland 2-0 up! Not to worry cos the Italy game will more than cover Scotland loss but will try to reduce this.
For Eng, not sure what to do yet. Tempting to lay initially and back at better odds as Eng rarely have decent starts.

I think Scotland are value at the moment as they are playing well as a team and their prior form is not a valid indicator at the moment.

In at 1.20, You can all laugh if England score early! Will put some money on England once the first bit completes.
