Not a bad result against a poor Danish side...still that poor circulation of the ball from the back......not much creativity still in midfield where with better players the Danes would just have run through a static England defense....up front...not bad movement in the second half climaxed with a typical football league goal which would have been saved had it been a competitive game....but there were some good things in that game......still think that we are lacking big creativity in midfield and the usual thing with our defenders not having a clue as what to do with the ball in defense when they get it..(except after the second goal) when there were big improvements.....

Once the ref booked him he started to behave on the pitch but should have been booked for dissent a lot earlier. His unnecessary altercation with Joe Jordan after the final whistle will hopefully earn him at least a 3 match ban.The White Hart Lane faithful will be spared his presence in the second leg because of the booking, thank goodness.

Ref did very well, but Flamini should have received a straight red for a two footed tackle, how did he not think that deserved a sending off??
