Being one of the army of small investors in SEO and rather concerned at recent events lacking positive reasoning, here is a welcome reminder of what not to do on bb's and what the result could be if your posted info is substantially misleading.

I'm not even going to think about selling any shares below 1 - if that takes 2-3 years then so be it. Big rewards come to those who wait...I'm thinking in terms of years not months, weeks or days. If the story remains good hold on for the long term. Just imagine owning thousands of shares paying a div of 1-2pence. So unreasonable for the company to be making those sorts of profits in the future? Obviously if things go drastically wrong then keep abreast of events and act accordingly. I do read this thread regularly, its the main reason I have added to my holding, topping up 6 times from 10p - 20p. I'm happy with my holding and am now going to wait for things to develop as inevitably they will. I like all the excitement, but never get too worried with temporary falls/adjustments in the SP. Stocks never go up in a straight line!

eric: Re Frogpack
In the view of the fact that Protective packaging demand in the US will grow 5.2 percent annually through 2008 (US alone) and is worth $2.7 billion to the protective packaging industry. I think your 100m deal with Tetrapak looks a bit cheap.

my trigger finger was a bit itchy yesterday and i bought 39k by mistake. managed to sell today for a 4 quid loss. wish i had the balls to hang in with that accidental trade, but the shit could soooooo easily hit the fan.
not knocking by any means but no-one seems to see any downside here. IF it goes tits up ( and i cant see why it would ), there will be an awful lot of unhappy bunnies who think early retirement is a couple of clicks away.
no comment required from the shrewd punters in at 4p
well done to all of you. i still have 52k ave 14.9p.

driver: re frogpack. I said a few hundred million, not 100 million, plus some royalty payments. Perhaps they could return a quid or so to investors so we don't have to sell any shares!
Nice trading and chart. Could be some profit trading to bring it back a bit but suspect that will be overcome by buying on expectations of an RNS. Still not convinced that that will come so soon but, unless there is an outright denial which they should give if the rumours are ill-founded, I suspect the speculation will just build. Could be back testing the 30p resistance level.

Driver, you are right, I wasn't aiming at you. Exactly as I said, we have had a very sharp rise for no apparent substantiated reason and in my book, it's the small investors that suffer the most when misleading information appears. In my last telcon with Howard White, some short while ago when ii first appeared, he explained to me that it was not in Stanelco's interest, PR wise or financially, to chase miscreant posters through court proceedings especially when the FSA can do the job quite adequately. My post was really to make some of our Stanelco supporters take stock of what is happening, be wary and not be dragged along with the tide unless they are strong swimmers.

deancroft: well done for taking that issue to Howard White. You're quite right that the sp is not an immediate concern of the Board, aprticularly as further funding is quite unlikely. Any funding requirement would be very short-term with positive cash flow imminent and short term borrowing would suffice. However, I would make a point: a strong swimmer is needed to swim against the tide; its easier to go with the tide. The tide is with the rising SP and the bulls right now and its a case of running profits. The key phrase is 'cautious optimism'.

Nice healthy finish to the week. 28.5p will do me fine. Mary has her new car with a big smile on her face. I'm building a good position in ASC utilising margin from my SEO CFDs. They are looking just lovely, blooming in the spring. And the sun is trying to get out for the weekend. All is well in God's world!
