Cheers Haystack
There was me taking percentages of the top 250 trying to work out how many players could be playing at -10k and you have just proved the simplest idea`s are often the best.
Must remember KISS.....keep it simple stupid ..

Using the mean average gain to date and graphing the known positions so far, then extrapolating the known results to forecast the mean average positon, thence doubling the position to give an idea of the end of the range leads me to believe I talk nonsense. But the end result is in the range of 840-860 players.
Close J?

Nowhere near, the last competition had over 2000 players
and this one seems more popular so i reckon 3000+ by the
end of it.

The comp system let me sell my virtual BFC shares just now!
As real BFC shares are currently suspended, before
I reinevst in the comp, can you please confirm that the validated trade

I see BFC trading is still ok in the comp
(even though in reality its shares are suspended)
24 hours after posting the above so I'm reinvesting
the virtual sale proceed now!

May, I tried to sell my virtual BFC shares today but couldn't, so you were lucky. Even luckier if you're not holding the real thing like I am....

Frampton - comiserations - hope they turn out
for you ok in the end.
Meanwhile my dummy buy
in the comp today, did give me a "live" quote (I had none left
to sell) and I reinvested today,
yesterdays proceeds from
my virtual BFC sale

thanks May, I'm not holding out much hope though.
I did get a live quote also but every time I tried to complete the trade it gave me a message saying the quote had expired. Maybe I was just too slow, I'll try again on monday. My heart isn't really in play trading today, even if I manage to sell I'm in postion 760 or something so I've got a long way to go to be in the money!

Email them at support@champinvest.com about the Bfc problem.
I would not be trying to buy or sell Bfc when it's suspended because
that will be against the rules etc etc.
Everybody in theory would short it for maximum amount and wait for
it to return from suspension at a much lower price and make a bundle,
only those who shorted prior to the suspension will gain.

Thanks mackem. I've sent a pm to them.
I vaguely recall the comp rules about suspensions, permiting
trades so long as the company was not actually in adminisiration.
However, if I am wrong or the trades are ruled invalid,
I'll post again.
