THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

They're all Sunni's together.

cynic - 10 Aug 2014 14:25 - 44827 of 81564

44826 - what's the difference?

Fred1new - 10 Aug 2014 14:25 - 44828 of 81564

Await the time when the Sunnis are organised and find a coherent unifying goal

10 years away from now.

"organised and find a coherent unifying goal"
thank goodness there's not too strong a chance of even the first part for all sorts of fairly obvious reasons

aldwickk - 10 Aug 2014 15:18 - 44831 of 81564

Fred think's his so clever

Fred1new - 10 Aug 2014 16:46 - 44832 of 81564

Recall the Israelis were a bunch of different tribes once!

ExecLine - 10 Aug 2014 18:44 - 44833 of 81564

GF

"Well said exec, I dont always agree with you but lets bury the hatchet. I offer you a virtual hand shake, please accept it."

Well you got me wrong anyway and I do like to read what you have to say about various stocks.

Go on then. Shaken - firmly though and also 'virtually' looking at you straight in the eyes. There's no other way, IMHO. :-)

cynic - 10 Aug 2014 19:02 - 44834 of 81564

true even if that was a millenium or three or more ago, but even then they - the 12 tribes/families - were closeknit as an entity .... the same most assuredly cannot be said of the disparate arab clans

required field - 10 Aug 2014 19:33 - 44835 of 81564

What do you do with these arabs ...isis or whatever you call them....the only thing they understand is an infrared missile up their arses...what a shower of muppets !...really....the West and all of us will have to be on our guards with these creeps....this is the trouble with the arab world...: in my view they are becoming more and more distant from us....barriers are going to become necessary to keep the middle east at bay....

goldfinger - 10 Aug 2014 19:37 - 44836 of 81564

Cheers Exec.

Fred1new - 10 Aug 2014 19:48 - 44837 of 81564

Agreed.

Send a gun boat up the river and blast the b.s away.

That will show them.

Remember, Britain lost an Empire, not because lack of gun boats, but due to gross stupidity and being dismissive of other races and cultures, who now don't care a damn about British Standards of corruption and abuse, as they have learnt from "Western Civilisation" and now have incorporate those, or similar standards into their own corruption governments.

=========

I say teach them a lesson, and that will sort those buggers out, perhaps send in some silly b.s from Eton to lead the march.

---------

Perhaps, we should examined the abuses, some past and some ongoing, of those "reacting" militants.

Blimey....Fred...that's a speech from Adolf,... translated....

Haystack - 10 Aug 2014 19:52 - 44839 of 81564

ISIS get their funding from many sources. They are selling oil from northern areas of Syria that they control. They have taken over banks in Iraq in cities such as Mosul, where they staged the world's biggest bank robbery netting $400m in cash. They have robbed most of the population in Iraqi areas they control. It is rumoured that Qatar and Saudi fund them, but probably from wealthy individuals rather than the state.

goldfinger - 10 Aug 2014 19:55 - 44840 of 81564

Hays how do we stop them from getting this money.

Any ideas?.

Have you seen the photos of what they have done?.........they have to be sick and never allowed back into the UK.

required field - 10 Aug 2014 19:55 - 44841 of 81564

Well done the USA for halting their advance !...

aldwickk - 10 Aug 2014 19:57 - 44842 of 81564

RF

Johnny Arab are a compleat shower old boy , it wouldn't have happened under the old Empire.

Haystack - 10 Aug 2014 20:00 - 44843 of 81564

I remember saying here a year ago that ISIS were going to be the biggest danger in the ME. They raised their heads in Syria when that idiot Miliband killed the vote to attack Syria's chemical weapons and some of their command and control infrastructure. The US would not go it alone. The result was no progress for the rebels and quite a bit of resentment and loss of impetus. ISIS took advantage of this situation to join in the fight in a more violent way.

ISIS needs some serious attention. They are flush with cash and resources. They will soon become the biggest sponsor of terrorism around the world. If they are not stopped, expect them to be visiting us in some unpleasant way. It is one of the reasons why Israel needs to solve their dispute with their neighbour over who's driveway it is or who's hedge.

required field - 10 Aug 2014 20:01 - 44844 of 81564

They are just not trustworthy....that's what I don't like...

goldfinger - 10 Aug 2014 20:08 - 44845 of 81564

Hays stop the party political bullsh-t.

We are facing a danger NOW.

How do we stop them getting funds???????????
