Now we are into the new season , golf tales and course ratings is the order of play .

Whittington heath and longcliffe this week . Putter was red hot at the weekend , 30 putts sat and 24 sun .

On the tee late afternoon , weather forcast looks bad , i think i am going to get wet. Pth , whats longcliffe playing like ?

wet again , dry the clubs to get wet friday . Dont you just love the british summer !

Played at whittington heath , very good course and greens . I will be returning to this course next year .

Probably a bit late now, but Longcliffe has been coming on very nicely, a lot of work has been put in during the Spring and the course is set up extremely well. Greens are not at their fastest yet and probably won't be until late Summer, but in good nick and running true.
Hope you enjoyed your round, but as I post, heck of a thunderstorm, but with any luck you will have completed your round by now?

Played 4 rounds at east sussex national . What a great pair of courses there . Testing holes with good and quick greens . If your looking for a good meal out , try Phish in uckfield .

Played in the rain on sunday , and due to play wed and fri , both forcasts are for rain . What a great summer !

bit humid Sunday, but not a drop of rain.
have a Geriatrics Cup round to play tomorrow morning ...... hope rain holds off until lunchtime, but seemingly we have a flood warning for tomorrow evening

Managed to birdie the 18th at Carnoustie a few weeks ago while playing in Scotland. I didnt fair to well on quite a few of the other holes, not really a links player, the wind destroys my shots.

Back from La-manga , last bit of sunshine for me this year . The greens there must have been between 11 and 13 on the s/m , 3 putted lots of times but a good weeks golf .

my tragedy is staying 4/5 days just 150 yards from 1st at Creek (Dubai) and not even having time to hit a few practice shots!
